Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaNothing that I can think of.
The apartment was a great size and made for a really comfortable stay. The staff were so helpful and kind. The food in the area was amazing and so much choice. Close to Stanley Park which is great for walking.

Great apartment in a good location. Would be an excellent place for a longer stay in Vancouver. Washing facilities in the apartment were a real bonus at the end of our journey.

United KingdomLocation for the noise, as mentioned, but maybe suites at the back are quieter?
Great location, very near Stanley Park. However, it is on Robson and our suite was at the front and was a little noisy in the evening but not too bad overnight (only reason we’re not scoring it 10). This said, we aren’t used to city noise and so this might not bother a lot of people. The apartment was well equipped and Safeway was just across the road so if you want to eat in it’s easy. The apartment was beautifully clean, spacious and comfortable. Staff were lovely, really helpful and happily organised an early taxi to the station the day we left. Lovely roof terrace with bbq’s for use in warmer weather.

CanadaOnly thing I didn't like was that the pillows were a bit lumpy. Not a huge thing. I also didn't realize that one of the closets had other pillows to choose from.
Great location in Vancouver's west end that is only a couple of blocks from Stanley Park. Lots of restaurants on Denman and Robson streets to choose from (literally a dozen different cuisines within 3 blocks). The suite was very clean and kitchen appeared well equipped. It was pretty roomy as well. Front desk staff were very good and welcoming.

IrelandWe liked everything. Couldn't fault the place or staff.
Staff friendliness great. Clint Travis and his colleagues looked after us particularly well. We arrived very early, following a very long flight, and they allowed us to check in well ahead of official check-in time. Rooms were clean and bright. Location was excellent. Near Stanley Park and yet there were 40 restaurants within a 10 minute walk! We had no problem with road traffic noise. There are drivers with 'souped-up noisy cars (which are very objectionable) everywhere in Vancouver. Even with windows open, it didn't bother us unduly, however. One piece of advice for intending guests - to open front lobby door from within lobby, push the left door handle!

CanadaSmall point and we managed but fyi-One of the bedrooms in the 2 bedroom suite was so small- almost wall to wall bed and no closet. The 2 bedroom suite only had one bathroom.
Great location. Shops, cafes, bike rentals, grocery stores, etc. within a block and only a couple block walk to Stanley park and the ocean walk. Suite had a full kitchen, secure and accessible parkade ($25 per night) which was cheaper than all other parkade options. The rooftop patio with barbecues was great. Highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed in Times Square suites Hotel before our trip onward to Haida Gwaii and again on our return to Vancouver prior to travelling back to the UK. The hotel was an excellent choice, very well located within easy walking of Stanley Park and convenient for a supermarket just across the street. The suite we occupied was very comfortable with a full kitchen, so having the store close by was a bonus for getting supplies. Situated fronting a road I had expected traffic noise which was apparent but didn't disturb us at all. All the staff were attentive and helpful, arranging taxi's (which collected from the garage) and advising on restaurants, etc. We would certainly stay again and have no hesitation in recommending.

United KingdomAbsolutely nothing. Exceeded our expectations and was exactly what we needed.
It was unbelievably well located and simple to find arriving late in the evening driving from the airport. Parking was excellent, front desk staff really informative and helpful. It's literally 5 minutes walk from Stanley Park and right in the thick of downtown, harbour area. Suite itself was very well stocked, very clean, warm, welcoming and plenty of room. Washing machine and tumble dryer were very useful, they even provide umbrellas which cam in handy.

Excellent location. Two blocks to Stanley Park and surrounded by numerous restaurants and shops. The staff is great and the room was like a small apartment with a sitting area, kitchen and dining room table. My room also had a small room with a desk and chairs. Very pleasant stay

CanadaMy only complaint is that getting in for the first time and finding the front desk is a bit confusing. You have to buzz the desk twice, hope they call the elevator for you (you can't do it on your own as they give you a key for the elevator after you check in) and go to the basement to check in. After that, though, it was all smooth sailing, and I honestly felt more safe knowing that not just anyone can get I'm and rife the elevator.
Place is spacious and well equipped for a long stay. Had a full kitchen, washer and dryer, ironing bored, recycling, and air conditioning all in my suit.
