The location is great. Very close to Wellington. The coffee and breakfast snacks were amazing. The hot tub was amazing with a great view, we used it multiple times just to ourselves. This place is the perfect spot for a romantic getaway. The check in and check out was the best I’ve experienced. We were sent a code and came and left as we pleased. Zero hassle. Can’t say enough good things about this place. The attention to detail with decorations was very cute and pleasant to be around.

There were bugs but you are essentially on a farm. A bug zapper was provided! Room isn't huge but it's comfortable for two people and you probably aren't going to spend much time in it.

Breakfast was amazing. Fresh baked goods, still warm. Charming location. Can see sunset and pastures. Close to wineries and cideries. They have a hot tub and fire place as well for warmer nights.

My only dislike is that although this is an adult only villa, and we appreciate the quiet; the rooms are quite close in a narrow hallway and with the coffee and goodies right outside our room in the morning, we didn't know how much sound carried. For instance, if we had the TV on, was it too loud? Plus, our room was at the far end, so we were concerned that walking by the other rooms might be heard by the other guests.

The accommodations are beautiful (even for November)! Our room was cozy and clean. The fresh baked goodies in the morning were delicious and such a nice smell to wake up to.

Loved the details and decorations at my room. The view was fantastic! 5 minutes driving to the main street, restaurants and Rotary Beach. Highly recommended :) if you're looking for a romantic gateway this is the spot 😊!

We visited the hall for breakfast to find only a couple of croissants left at 8:45 am. The stock should have been checked on and replenished, especially if the breakfast was supposed to be over at 10am. We packed up, departed, and stopped at a restaurant in Brighton. Everything else was great.

The room had a Juliet balcony but we couldn’t open the doors because there were always several flies inside the screen. The room had a battery fly swatter which was effective but flies were still getting past the weatherstripping on the screen door.

The Breakfast was very good and right outside the room. The grounds had hot tub, barbecue and fire pit The Love wall was excellent and they provided locks and an engraving tool to personalize them.

The shower in the room we stayed in is in need of repair which was ver unfortunate since it was a A gorgeous shower. The grout is coming out of the shower floor tile and it was like stepping on sharp little rocks. The shower head could not be tilted so you are forced to stand on the tile area where the grout was coming out. The other issue we had was the hallway leading to the rooms is very narrow which makes it a little tricky to manoeuvre with luggage. There is a small table with a sign in book and such. We knocked it over by accident with our bag. Maybe a narrow shelf could be mounted higher up on the wall to hold the sign-in book so it doesn’t protrude into the hallway so much.

Very unique property. Our room was amazing!!!. It did not feel like a typical hotel with generic decor. It was beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. A perfect blend of modern and classic design. The bed and linens were so comfortable we had the best sleep ever in a hotel stay! Biscotti and a coffee/tea/water station, right outside our room, was a very nice touch. A lot of thought obviously went into providing extra touches. We will definitely stay again if in the area.

I can’t think of anything I didn’t like.

We had a lovely time staying at this sweet, comfortable and carefully built small hotel! The warm pastries, tea, coffee and all the thoughtful extras (towels+++) were delightful. We enjoyed the comfy bed, generous room size, the hot tub and the quiet countryside. A unique place to stay- it reflects the care and hard work of the owners!
