Very cozy and feels like being at home! Brenda and George were amazing hosts. They welcomed my family and I with their warm hospitality. Love the layout of their property especially the dining room and the swing set on the back porch. Highly recommend their place when visiting Nova Scotia!

The exterior of the house is generally attractive but needs a fresh coat of paint.

The breakfast was tasty and plentiful: fresh avocado, ham, blackberries, blueberries, strawberries and lovely banana bread. Brenda, our friendly hostess, was able to introduce we 6 guests to one another by our first names at the dining table, engendering a very friendly, animated conversation. The gardens were fresh and well kept.

Super welcoming B&B with charm, hosts Brenda and George were amazing! They made us feel like family and were very attentive to details, making sure breakfast was exactly as we wanted it. Room was spacious and comfortable, and the inn is just steps away from the waterfront and main attractions. Great details within the house too - make sure you look up to admire the ceilings! Will definitely stay here again!

Willow House is a delightful place to stay in Pictou. It is an exceptionally well run B&B operation, in a central location, near to restaurants and shops. Our bedroom was very comfortable and the bathroom well appointed, with an unusual shower arrangement. The breakfast was excellent. Brenda and George are exceptional hosts, very friendly, attentive, helpful and informative.

The owners are some of the nicest people you'll meet. The room was well appointed and offered us an enjoyable stay. Spacious room, big bed, comfy sheets, all in a nice historic home. Breakfast was delicious and the homemade jams were yummy. It's easy to walk to the few restaurants in town and the waterfront path.

Beautiful historic inn. George and Brenda give a very warm welcome and an amazing breakfast. They advised us on where to go for dinner in town, which turned out to be a low-key spot with the best homemade seafood chowder ever! Our nice spacious room provided us with a comfy bed and wonderful sleep. After the delicious breakfast we certainly didn't need to stop anywhere for lunch.

We had a wonderful stay at the Willow House! The house was very clean, and the bed in our room was super comfy. The hosts put a lot of thought into decorating the house -- every corner of the house was just beautiful. Brenda and George were very friendly and welcoming. They made us coffee and delicious breakfast. We also had a little chat before we left. We're very thankful that I met them during our trip, and I wish them all the best! Unfortunately, we were only able to stay at Pictou for one night. We will definitely come back to visit this lovely place in the future.

We liked everything about the property and our hosts. (The only disappointment, and this was 100% our own fault, was that we came too early in the season and many of the places we would have liked to visit were closed. This is NOT the fault of the Willow House.)

While generally we tend not to prefer B & Bs, the Willow House was a delightful exception. Our room, the breakfast, and the location were all excellent, but it was the proprietors, Brenda and George, who made all the difference. They were welcoming, friendly, and informative without being at all intrusive. Overall, excellent hosts and a an excellent stay!

There is nothing to dislike at the wonderful B&B. Breakfast is multi-course and you will not leave the the table hungry - in fact, the hostess will brown bag the two delicious muffins

I would have liked a later time for breakfast and later option to check out. Week-ends is the only time I get to sleep in and it felt a bit rushed to be ready for breakfast at 9:00 and out by 10:00.

Beautiful house, a stone's throw from the harbor. Bed was super comfy and the room was very clean. We had to leave early so didn't get to have breakfast, but the hosts left us some muffins & coffee to go! Highly recommended Willow House if you're in Pictou!
