when I arrived my room was not cleaned. the staff got new a new room right away which was great. The beds are a little uncomfortable and the sheets were very thin.

I would have liked an option of breakfast on site. A few coat hangers in the room would have been good. I'm not sure if the lighting in front of the mirror was available, but I didn't need it then. Thicker toilet paper would have been appreciated. I didn't need the refrigerator this time, but I'm glad there was one if I'd needed it, as I had heard that there would be none this summer.

I found the room temperature very good. There was lots of room to put my things, including a mirror which was great. Everything was exceptionally clean in the room and the bathroom; liked there was soap container there at the sinks. The toilet tissue was too thin, but I expected that from staying at Wilson Hall before. The mattress was quite thin, but not uncomfortable. There was no food service at this time, but commercial ones not too far to walk. I thought everything was great for the price it cost! I only stayed 1 night because my bus to get home out of town that night had been cancelled. I had stayed at Wilson Hall for a week at a time twice before, in 2013 and 2016, as well as 1 night I needed to stay in town about that year..

Rooms were a bit far from the shared bathrooms, the electronic keys were a bit fiddly to use (didn't always scan on the first try), and the windows were super dirty (on the outside - practically opaque). The air conditioning system was missing some of the top grates for the vents. The mattresses (plastic covered) made a lot of noise whenever you shifted your weight/rolled over. The on-site coffee shop was closed (for renovation), but there are local coffee shops that did the job.

Hotel location was great for a U of T-related visit, room was spacious, air conditioning was set at good temperature and it created a pleasant white background noise for sleeping. Since it's normally a dorm, staying there is more like staying at a hostel than at a hotel, so dial back your comfort expectations. But generally a clean and functional place to stay. The listing just mentions towels and bed linens, but they did also provide pillows.

Parking is a problem. The overnight they proposed was several blocks away, and not at all as described. The time allowed ended at 6 am. To renew one needed to be there at 6 am. We just took a chance. Worked out for us. Best perhaps to look for a more professional parking operation.

the mattress was uncomfortable. no fitted sheets so the bedding came off at night. only one pillow, the bathroom toilet paper was 1ply.

The beds are not terribly comfortable but we are in a university dorm.

Very quiet and washrooms kept very clean. Common room with stove and microwave but no dishes, cutlery or pots and pans. Coffee available for a nominal fee in lobby.

The bed was definitely a little rough, not terrible but not great by any means. Only a communal fridge which I didn't feel safe leaving my beer in, just not trusting. Ended up making a make shift ice bath. Overall good place, especially for solo travel.

Amazing location, right on spadina and the street car will take you right downtown/past Kensington market. Very secure building, easy to get in and out of. Communal washrooms but super clean and always stocked. Definitely worth the price, and they take visa debit card so no credit was required which is definitely a huge plus!

to far from elevator and washroom excessive noise past midnight(from1015) access to a micro wave would be an asset.
