How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Room darkening curtains would have been great!

Parking was expensive ( we had 2 vehicles) and the garage door key system didn't work well but everything else was great!
Breakfast was delicious and plentiful! Served at very reasonable hours. The hotel staff was friendly, courteous and helpful.

the lady at the check in desk was very polite, informative and efficient. we had a problem with the TV (recommend that hotels provide instructions on how to operate TVs as they are all different) and housekeeping came immediately to fix it and offered to provide a different room if it could not be resolved it was

The parking should be included in the price instead of extra. Most hotels, parking is included.
Nice continental breakfast. I didn't have a chance to use the pool or weight room. Maybe nextime.

Pd for an an " accessible" room for a reason -was in Regina for post hip surgery follow up next day. Needed a room with bars or raised toilet seat and a room with good lighting cause of sight issues . What do I get: No raised seat in bathroom; only one bar on one side of toilet to help get up and absolutely terrible dim lighting through out the room except the bathroom. entrance Unable to read the thermostat number or do any other reading due to poor light. This is a handicap room so should at least have good lighting available throughout !! Also had to call service desk to get thermostat to work Should be a simple set of instructions available. For example " step one: ensure dial on left is turned from off to on to start with!!" etc TV - Had to get service for start up instructions. Again It read " power on" - great then it says " Press select button" There is no " select button on remote! Should read " Select " any channel to turn on!! Service personnel very helpful but should not have to go through all this fuss if instructions were clear and lighting was sufficient

Parking was a little tight and with the downtown location didn’t feel safe leaving my vehicle where it was

It was fine for an overnight stop. The lady at reception was great. The guy at reception not so great. (Maybe needs to listen to more English speaking people) after all, Australian is English.

One thing to be aware of is the location - there are a lot of homeless people in downtown Regina, which some people may not be comfortable with. Generally if you mind your business and don't bother them you won't have an issue. Just make sure to take everything out of your vehicle as well. Also currently (July 2023) there are several streets closed downtown so stick to Broad Street and Sask Drive if you are trying to get around.
The staff were friendly and helpful, I appreciated the hotel is pet friendly. The hotel is close to Victoria Park so we were able to take our dog there several times during our stay. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
