Overall, a very beautiful apartment/home and comfortable stay. Communication with owner could have been a bit better by providing more information about the property such as the house is currently for sale. An unexpected "showing" occurred on Sunday with realtors and clients. Although they didn't view the apartment, they were present in the beautiful garden outside. Although not a major inconvenience, warning that this may occur would have been helpful. Also, a few necessities would have been nice like hand soap dispensers at sinks, dish drying towels, spatula and additional kitchenware accessories. Although a kettle was provided, I could not find a coffee machine as mentioned in the description. Although I had a lock for the entrance gate, I wasn't provided with a key to the apartment door. I did appreciate meeting the owner's son who dropped by to water the plants.

It was advertised as Entire Place to myself, which is untrue. There were people staying upstairs, and I only got the basement unit to myself. This is a shared space, so it was falsely advertised.

Carpet was dirty, but there was a vacuum so I cleaned it. Kitchen counter was a little dirty. It was way too bright to sleep well because of streetlights shining in the windows.

Would have been nice to have a place to hang jackets & coats. There was no instructions on how to use the washer/dryer combo so couldn’t do a small load of laundry.

Was a very nice fairly quiet residential location within walking distance to eateries & shops. Was the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed in so far! Comfortable bed. Yoyo was very nice & accommodating.

Although it's a very quiet neighbourhood, the house isn't very soundproofed, only a small issue for us

We had a great 3 night stay. The house is out of town but is well serviced by public transport. We used the light rail, which was about 1.2 km away, and a direct bus to the city was one block away. Very clean and comfortable. Had lots of facilities. great kitchen and bed was very comfortable. Great, peaceful neighbourhood, watching all the cyclists and joggers heading to Queens Park while sitting on the bedroom balcony. Went to a baseball game, which is only about 200 metres away. Great contact with host via messaging and easy key pad entry Totally recommend.

We arrived on a 28 degree day and while there was a form of air conditioning in the bedroom upstairs, the downstairs was very hot & stuffy. Even a simple floor fan would’ve helped stir the hot air.

We enjoyed everything about Yo-Yo’s property. The location was quiet and mainly foot or bicycle traffic. Queen Elizabeth Park was a short distance away. There was a surprise basket of snacks and the kitchen had all one needed to cook your own meals, which we did. The freezer even had ice cubes.

Some Kitchenwear only minimal supplied. No wine glasses when we arrived. Only 2 knifes, forks and spoons. Only 2 water glasses.

Liked everything

Very comfortable, had everything we needed for our stay for the week. Bed was very comfortable, heating was great but we were also able to open the windows for fresh air on a few of the warmer days. Washer/dryer, cooking facilities all came in handy.

The bed was lovely but not that comfy. Next time, I would bring my own pillow. There was no place to hang your coat on the ground floor. There are more than a dozen steps to the top level bedroom and bathroom and no chair in the bedroom. Also there’s only the sofa plus two dining room chairs on the main floor. Very minimalist. The Kuerig coffee machine did not work. (But there’s also a French press coffee maker.) It’s quite far from Kits beach.

The location was great for eating out, buying groceries and gift or clothing shopping. Or just walking or running. The beautiful Queen Elizabeth Park is nearby. It seemed to be a safe residential neighbourhood and there is ample free parking. A stop for Skytrain to the airport is within an easy walk, (only about 6 blocks)and the ticket is about $2 for Seniors. Plus there are elevators to the Skytrain platform. The property is new and would pass any inspection. It has a sprinkler system as well as smoke detectors. Tea, coffee & snacks provided. Yo-yo is a kind, helpful host.

Loved the owner of the lodge! Was very helpful with my questions before and during my stay. The lodge was an apartment to I myself and contained everything we needed (as well,wasn't cluttered with unnecessary items.) It is a 12 minute walk to the train and buses. Very conveniently located to many restaurants and stores on Main Street.

Location was perfect for us. Main Street is walking distance with places to eat, even in the snow. Property had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable. It was quiet and we didn’t have trouble parking. We had some meals in. We would go back again.
