Place dies need a little bit of work, but overall we were very pleased with our stay and are rebooking again for next year.

Superb location right on the beach and the use of Wilson's Bar next was excellent. 10/10 for Rosalea and Mene who were so hospitable providing wonderful service to us always with a smile.

Nothing to dislike.

Our room was very clean and comfortable. The swimming pool was great and we enjoyed many meals and cocktails in the bar. The food was well prepared, and we recommended the seafood platter. Staff are friendly and helpful. They let us stay late on our last day due to a late flight.

no wifi. no in room security box. one bedroom had no aircon. convenience store opposite no longer functioning. sun bed covers wet and scruffy. bar not open until 4pm.

Outdated, accommodations close to each other, no free WiFi (at least not in our room), sea view was very limited, not close to supermarkets, limited equipped kitchenette. Photo's on booking.com did not represent the current conditions.

It would have been great to have known in advance that the kitchen was only limited hours - ie only breakfast and at dinner. while there were kitchen facilities the closest supermarket was a 16 min bus ride away. also no Orion to get drinking water unless the kitchen or bar were open.

As only 20 odd rooms, felt intimate and friendly, not just a big number. rooms were nice and tidy, food was good value and staff were exceptional.

Room was spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast very good and food from the restaurant excellent. Staff amazing very polite and helpful. Great atmosphere in a great spot. Very enjoyable stay.

Water pressure was not good enough to run both showers at once. This made things difficult with such a large group. Also, washing machine present but no provided laundry detergent from what we could see.

Heaps of space for 8 of us in the beach house, really unique place to stay. Loved it!

The two bedroom air conditioned apartment with ensuite, ceiling fans, lounge, kitchen & balcony overlooking the pool, was spacious & clean. The location was great to watch the sunset on the beach whilst sipping a cocktail from Wilson's Bar. The staff were friendly & food was good.

Nothing that really bothered us.

Proximity to airport and good snorkeling spots. Cleanliness and daily housekeeping. Very friendly and informative hosts.Perfect for couples. Excellent restaurant with beach bar. Some good live performers on selected nights. Will definitely stay there again.

Health & Safety are key concerns in NZ. Restaurant flooring potentially hazardous due to plank unevenness and low lighting levels in evenings (almost tripped several times). Disappointed with 3.5% added for credit card payment that seems quite common in Raro.

Pool was good albeit modest in size. Breakfast Fine. Room cleaned frequently - thanks. Welcome package of water & milk. Hot water on tap as solar switched on for us prior to arrival

The showers were slippery in the units. The units were a bit small.

An excellent supply of everything imaginable. Lots of fresh fruit. We had the complimentary breakfast which was more than ample. Nice open-air but covered dining with lovely sea views. ALL the staff were friendly and happy. The king beds were fabulous for us oldies. The units were spotless Loved the poolside units.

The parking area beside the complex was not very good. Most of the time the light there wasn't on, the ground was uneven to walk from the car park into the complex through the restaurant area. Worst of all was the concrete area where we tried to park the car on. Some of the concrete was broken and lifted up under the wheel, thus damaging the rental car. My husband was not very happy with the receptionists reaction when she told him that she herself wouldn't park there!

We were very satisfied with the breakfast and our room was lovely. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Not a major issue the Wifi hotspot was a bit hit and miss. However we were able to hotspot from the Friendly mart across the road.

Ocean view studio - comfortable bed, good shower and self catering (which we did not use). We overlooked Wilsons Bar which was fine as it closed down at a reasonable hour and had the advantage of eating on our deck if the restaurant was fully booked (which it often was). The food was great could not fault it. Enjoyed watching the whales at breakfast time. Staff were amazing and very friendly nothing was any trouble.

Pool was a bit cold so we didn't use it. However the weather wasn't great for swimming most of the time.

Great location specially with the eastern strong winds. Good food at the beach side restaurant and great environment during dinner time.

Breakfast very average. Need more choices. Tv poor reception but this is cooks. Surprisingly no shuttle to and from airport. Worse aspect of stay was noisy dogs at night and dogs hanging around bar.

Dishes and cuttlery need to be cleaned a bit better. Bathroom needs to be upgraded so water doesn't splatter everywhere as can become hazardous for falls if not drained/dried properly.

The hotel management (owners), front reception and kitchen staff were a pleasure to deal with. Very helpful and accomodating. Location was amazing and we were lucky to see some of the best sunsets and prettiest of night sky we have ever seen. Loved our villa and conveinece of it.
