The apartment is very cozy, next to the beach. The host allowed us to have flexible check-in and check-out which was very helpful. It's been just wonderful.

Beach in front is not suitable for swimming or snorkeling but that was totally fine for me

A couple of necessities were missing (like soap in the bathroom and dishwashing liquid), though the lovely hosts were quick to apologise for the oversight.

Great value for money, and just a 7 minute drive to Muri beach. The hosts were super helpful and friendly too! Would recommend especially for couples who aren't looking to stay at a pricey resort.

There wasn't any toilet paper

Accommodation was great! There is a beach but you cannot swim there because of the reef but it is still amazing to just sit there and look at tha waves. You can get around by bus but I would highly reccommend a car because the bus is not very reliable. The bed was very comfortable, I had a nice terrace and the owners friend was so nice and drove me around a couple of times and brought me fresh fruit. I would definitely reccommend!!

The giant cockroach and tiny lizard was something I needed to get use to when visiting a tropical country thank goodness the staff was there to help.

Everything I needed was there it was like having my own house/flat, I especially liked having a washing machine too. It was so peaceful the gardens were lovely and sitting on the deck by the beach was a treat.

Very calm clean and homely. Great location. Loved how close it was to the beach. Though you can not swim in the beach, it was soothing to hear the waves crash on the shore. Spotted a few whales too. Sue and pasha are amazing hosts.

I found the bed a bit hard but that a personal preference.

The property is right on the beach which isn't swimmable but a great view, especially watching whales and the sunrise. You could pay way more and not have a private beach at hand. Also, the shower is really good.

The only drawback is the neighbour’s dogs that barked every night from dusk till 11 pm. I got used to it, but if you crave peace and quiet in the evening, check with Sue and Pasha, who are trying to fix the problem..

The Mountain View apartment had everything I needed for just over 2 weeks. The location on the reef is lovely, and the gardens are fabulous. It’s not suitable for swimming but great for whale watching, and reef shoe rambling. I would book this place again. It’s close to Avarua, and Muri, but a little too far to walk. I hired a pushbike to get around the island, although the island bus is great value.

A piece of beach that was "ours" .So quiet. Loved talking to Sue and Pasha ... Stories to tell from faraway lands... Enjoyed cooking evening meals and eating on the deck to the sound of the sea... Real Rarotonga... Nothing pretentious... A real retreat.

The host was exceptional going out of her way to make my trip special. Wven though it's self described as humble the apartment had everything you may need for a quiet Raro holiday. Fruit and blender were great.

You will definitely need either a scooter or car for your time on the island, mainly as the shops aren’t really walking distance. there is also a very good night market that is a short drive away. There is a bus that runs regularly however we preferred the flexibility of our own transport.

A short taxi to/from the airport. Pasha was extremely helpful before and during our stay. very easy to contact and helped us many times with requests we had. the decking section out the back was a very nice place to sit and relax in the sun. The apartment had all cooking facilities needed. overall we really enjoyed our week on the island and would certainly recommend this accommodation to anyone travelling to Rarotonga.

A bit far from shopping if you don't have wheels. Bus however drives by twice an hour between 8 and 4.30pm

Really nice open and helpful owners. Did all they could to make me feel at home. Even bought me supplies as my arrival was rather late. Really nice deck in the garden facing the sea you as a guest also can use. Nice dogs.

Nothing at all, exceptional stay. There may be ants and mosquitoes, but that's to be expected in a tropical country.

Sue and Pasha very hospitable and awesome hosts. They made sure I was settled in and checked in on me to make sure I was ok as I was a solo traveller. The view from my apartment was amazing being able to watch the waves coming in and listen to the sound of the water hitting the rocks. Very clean and tidy apartment. Also a plus were Puppy and Sammy. Puppy the sweetest dog ever and Sammy, a beautiful rescue whose story touched my heart. And the beautiful cat that made its way fo my front door during my stay. Close vicinity walking distance to Love Cafe and Super Brown market. Clockwise bus stop right outside or across the street by Takitumu Primary School for the Anti-clckwise bus. Finally excellent communication, from booking to arrival and assisting with taxi airport pick-up arrangements.
