The weather wasn't perfect. We had a couple of days with lots of wind, but we still did everything that we wanted.

Fantastic. It was exactly what we wanted: on the beach, walking distance from shops and restaurants but nice and quiet. The hosts are lovely. Pool, kayaks, other gear available. You can't swim right in front of the bungalows most of the time because it is too shallow, but you can swim quite close and in walking distance. We had a car, so were able to drive to good snorkeling places.

At times, having restuarant facilities on site would have been handy - but we knew there wasnt one when booking of course. Otherwise, nothing to fault!

We loved Sunhave - location was perfect for what we wanted; super clean; Dennis & Pattie super friendly and welcoming. This was our first trip to Raro - we'll return and we'll definitely look to return to Sunhaven!

Disrupted sleep ( multiple times) from feral cats howling through the night. Have never heard anything like it! Could not sleep through even with earplugs.

Location and proximity to beach is excellent. The place is meticulously maintained. Bungalow perfectly appointed.

Every tropical island has tiny ants that get into everything. Sunhaven made good efforts and maintained good practices to minimize the problem

Sunhaven is very clean and tidy. You can tell the owners really take pride in the accommodation. Great location close to restaurants and snorkeling. Very close to the beach, and love the privacy/quiet of an adults only complex.

It is vry very minor but the beach could have been sandy. LOL

We have stayed in places all around the world. This was the the best in cleanliness( you could eat off the floor) Hospitality service and all the other great values you look for when holidaying. Wonderful hosts. Even brought us freshly picked passionfruit. We recommend this property to all. We have rebooked another 10 days in 2022.

The location was perfect. Very picturesque...an island paradise! The views - amazing. Right on the beach. The bungalow was extremely clean thanks to our host Patti who cleaned and refreshed it every day. It was very quiet which we appreciated. The owners Patti and Dennis are hospitable, helpful, very friendly and gave great tips for eating, etc. They even organised our taxi pickup from the airport on arrival, and a rental car the next day. Patti went to the trouble of picking and then cooking for us, a tropical chestnut because we had never tried one previously. Overall it was the perfect holiday! We can't wait to stay again.

One of the best spot in Rarotonga where to enjoy the sunset, beautiful location and so peaceful, Dennis and Patti has been great hosts and always available, the attention to the details and the room cleaning are stunning! Highly recommended

We only stayed 6nights, wish we stayed longer.

UNIT 9 (small standard bungalow) Your own secluded private gold sand beachfront, beautiful vistas of crystal lagoon and reef 24/7 & the lush mountain terrain, filtered sunshine through coconut trees, the gorgeous & clean spacious pool, your own private deck, private outdoor furniture, bbq, HDMI tv, clear reception, my fav channel 1 NZ news, gorgeous strong hit water pressure shower, great kitchen with all your needs except I never cooked on holiday, exceptionally spotlessly clean, very comforting for the germaphobes like me, Kayaks free for use, yummy fruit trees, fresh fruit to your bungalow each morning, the convenience and extreme cleanliness of the self contained bungalows & the whole propertyin general, the easy walkable location to food & bars both left and right of driveway, awesome Carnivorous & Vegetarian friendly restaurants & cafes, (Beluga is fab, shipwreck bar & restaurant, Cast Away bar and restaurant) absolute FRESH fish n chip shop (Pacific Fish Shop Tues-Thurs 5pm-9pm), dairy's that supply fresh 60c Island donuts lol & other basics. NO DOGS, NO ROOSTERS, NO CATS, NO KIDS- nothing but the noise of palm leaves when a breeze comes by, the waves on the reef & your own noise you make...Great policy! The Kiwi/Cook hosts Patty and Dennis are awesome. Always helpful, naturally friendly, full of great advice, a full reception with holiday tours & a free map. All round great people. Will definitely stay again when we are back.

You couldn’t safely swim out the front of property due to the amount of rocks.

The property was very quiet and clean.
