Maintenance in rooms not good

The bed.. The owners/managers were not very forthcoming with information about tours. No sharp knife and the toaster was broken.

Great location - quite isolated ..only 2 other cabins there- the view the quiet...It is a short walk into town.

Nothing, all was perfect.

Loved the location, cleanliness, space available with full kitchen and lounge. Deck looking straight out onto beautifully clean sand, coconut palms and lagoon right out in front, complete with pontoon. Great.snorkelling. We cooked up a lot of our meals from the tuna we caught. Mello and her family are so lovely and made sure we had everything we needed, complete with complimetary transfers to and from airport. Highly recommend ❤️

Perhaps some beach towels would be handy and some comfy chairs along the beach area. TV needed an external antenna to obtain local channel.

Great pick up service from host and easy quick checkin and assistance to obtain transport for the duration of the stay. friendly hostess and beautiful setting. Also good wifi hot spot available there.

The man who attended, I'm not sure if he was the owner or just worked there, insisted that we turn off the air conditioning every time we left the room. We thought it was fine when we left the place because we wouldn't actually use it, but if we went out just for a while to have something at the edge of the room he would come and ask us to turn it off, which was not pleasant because when we went in to look for a glass or anything . The room was a real oven and turning it on and off made no sense. In addition to this, they began to make repairs in the next room with a drill or something similar in sound at 08:30 am. Actually, if I am on vacation, it is not pleasant to have those noises, especially in the morning.

The property is in good condition, it has air conditioning and a fan, which is really necessary in the heat.

The owner is very unfriendly. The quality and cleanliness is similar to a cheap hostel but the price is that of an expensive hotel (also compared to other accommodation on the island). The owner lied and made us pay an extra fee that was not mentioned on the website. There is no key so everything is always unlocked. The drinking water that was promised was currently not available. We were asked by staff not to shower since the tank was nearly empty. The bikes that are mentioned don’t exist. The laundry that is mentioned does not exist. The nearest supermarket is over 4km away so it is only possible to stay here with a car or scooter. The nearest restaurant is 2km away.

It is right on the beach. The cleaning staff were very friendly.

It's definitely off the beaten track, good thing for privacy, inconvenient if you need a few supplies. The snorkling wasn't as exciting as expected but there is a pontoon although it's in the shallow water

We took our own breakfast and used the kitchen for cooking. It is only a 1km walk along the beach to paradise cove bar and restaurant, which is not far for us. It is simply picturesque. Great well kept section with friendly staff.

The overall condition of the property was not great. The windows were dusty so I cleaned them as I suffer from asthma, and although the onsite host, Melo was very attentive and cleaned our room, etc., the overall condition is poor, given the price.

The hosts were wonderful. Both Lani and Melo went above and beyond. They greeted us warmly and efficiently and were very helpful.It was easy to hire a car, which we needed as the location is not a walking distance to shops, or water station or any cafes, etc. It is a beautiful place and the sunsets are stunnning. From the first day the fridge was not really working and although we jammed a chair against the door to try to keep the door closed over the next few days it stopped working and the freezer defrosted which caused it to leak very horrible tasting water all over our butter and groceries, which are very expensive to buy on the island, due to its remote (idyllic) location. We have been to Aitutaki before and loved it so planned to stay for 8 nights but after the food spoiling incident and finding that other things were not in good shape we decided to leave two days early. The owner, Stephen, was over in Raro but when he returned I spoke to Lani who spoke with him, ad he agreed to refund us for the last two nights, which he has done. True to his word. That was good but I felt overall that he could have offered us more...the property was overpriced for the conditions. The bungalow next door had a ceiling fan that was lowered and dangerous - when Melp was informed by the lady who had been staying there she decided to be safe and not accept guests for that room until it was fixed.

This felt like a peaceful retreat from the moment I arrived. It felt as if I had my own hut with my own beach and my own perfect dock to sit on for sunrise and sunset. The water is so clear that you can have your coffee or make yourself cocktail and just watch the fish go by. It was absolutely home for two days and I wish that it were for two weeks.
