Our stay was incredible. Pilar and Karen were so helpful with everything. They made us feel so welcome and helped us figure out where to eat and what to see. We were also able to get into our room early which was a nice treat after our 36 hours of traveling. The location was central and close to everything we wanted to see. The room was large and comfortable with everything that you could need. Pilar brought us an amazing breakfast in our room every morning which included fresh juice, muffins, bread, scrambled eggs with ham and fresh fruit.

Hot water seemed limited in the shower, so we had a ‘cool’ shower to start the day.

Great location, comfortable rooms, outstanding staff. Pilar was awesome, cared about our comfort, our safety, and made sure we knew where where to explore, where to grab coffee or a meal, helped with taxi/ubers, and served breakfast to our room. She made this stay so memorable.

My wife got a hot shower, but mine and our friends was a cold shower.

The breakfast was fantastic, it was delivered to our room at our time of choice. We also had a choice of eggs, fresh fruit, bread/toast, fresh juice, and muffin. The location was perfect for previewing the area before we caught our cruise.

Be aware there are stairs to the higher rooms, but the view is absolutely worth it.

Everything! Centrally located. Beautifully decorated. Amazing service. Our spacious room had a stunning view. Pilar could not have been more helpful. Great tables at restaurants, wonderful day trips. Helped us to feel safe and confident around the town. Just fantastic.

This is a high quality property. First of all the location is close to the regular tourist attractions in a safe area. There are plenty of good restaurants within walking distance. The hotel is very tastefully decorated. The bed is comfortable and the shower very good. Pilar the host is very helpful with any needs you might have. Breakfast in the room was a nice touch.

Such a fabulous property in the heart of Valparaiso! The staff were incredibly friendly and responsive, helping to arrange a car from the Santiago airport and an emergency driver when our wine tour was disrupted. Spacious room, well-appointed kitchen area, delicious breakfast, comfortable bed, and a lovely private patio...we wish our stay had been longer!

Everything! The location was great, the interior of the room was beautiful and the view from the balcony was impressive. Breakfast was served in our room each day, which was a real treat. Pilar made our stay extra special, she was on hand to give us recommendations or help with absolutely anything and really made us feel at home, we were both so sad to leave this place. Book this hotel, you will not be disappointed!

A tiny small improvement would be to add a full length mirror somewhere in the room, though not necessary!

This is a beautiful hotel in a fantastic location. The room was clean and comfortable and we upgraded to room 6 which had a stunning view of the bay. The folks working at the hotel were so kind and helpful. They helped to arrange an early breakfast (which was great!) to accommodate our departure and also helped arrange private transport to the airport which alleviated some stress for us. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Karen was so helpful arranging transportation from SCL (Santiago Airport). Pilar checked me in and took time to detail a tourist map, highlighting points of interest and great restaurants nearby -- all reachable by foot.

The hotel is exceptional. The rooms are stylish and spacious with comfortable beds, a sitting area and small kitchenette. Though we stayed on the bottom level in a room without a view, it did have a large open air patio that made the room very bright. The breakfast was delicious, plentiful and delivered to our room every morning. All of the hosts were cheerful and helpful in providing details about the city and making dinner reservations.

It’s stylish, rooms are spacious with lovely outlook, the location is excellent and the staff are just excellent. I had a medical emergency and Pilar was excellent. Helpful, calm, efficient and very empathetic.

From the second we walked in the door we knew that The Augusta was special. The tastefully decorated lobby, the beautiful stairs, the amazingly tall doors, all impressed, but the best was yet to come. Pilar the front desk manager was there to tell us everything we needed to know, which routes to take, what restaurants to go to , where to buy wine. She and all the staff made our stay remarkable. The room was large as was the view, breakfast delivered every morning was a treat. Thanks to everyone at The Augusta.

Nothing - we really enjoyed our stay here.

Well equipped and the breakfasts were plentiful and excellent quality with fresh fruit, juice and pastries. The hotel was staffed 24hrs per day and Pilla was incredibly helpful, flexible and thoughtful in providing advice regarding the city.

No air con and no lift - but who cares?

Booked for New Year’s Eve- room 6 has a view across the bay (which is epic) and the fireworks were stellar.
