Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SpainThe pool area is in the shadow in the afternoon, which limits the sun bathing but this is a minor issue.
This is for a sustainable minded traveler who wants to enjoy the “luxus” of a qell designed hotel with a smaller ecogical footprint. it has everything that a business or leisure traveler might need, spacey comfortable rooms, nice restaurant and bar downstairs and a pool area for relaxing. It is easy to move around Santiago, and the area where it is located has a lot of restaurants and green areas. Shopping Center and Parque Bicentenario are quite close to go by bike or walking.

United StatesCommon to see a hotel in santiago that says it's 5 stars, but still doesn't quite make it. While this place is great, it lacks details such as robes, room service, fluffy towels etc. The AC was lackluster as well. It also smelt a bit dingy or musty. I am not sure if it is due to pet-friendly as the odor did smell as such.
Beautiful decor and hotel. Great, safe location as well with great restaurants around and shops. Very hard to find a breakfast this good! Super peaceful and quiet as well.

United Statesall was perfect
Nice neighborhood- easy to walk around and find whatever we needed (Starbucks, gym, manicure, pharmacy) yet it felt peaceful and residential. Loved the vibe of the hotel. Delicious food, wonderful staff, etc. We stayed there at the beginning and at the end of our Atacama/Patagonia visits. We were so happy to return at the end of our trip to our temporary 'home' at Bidasoa.

United KingdomStorage in 2 bedded rooms Charge for bottled water in rooms - would have been nice to have complimentary bottle per day.
Loved the decor and vibe. Lovely room scent as you enter the hotel - lovely complimentary cold water with grapefruit and mint in it. Restaurant great menu and presentation of dishes. Bedroom/bathrooms good - room with 2 beds in was a bit short of clothing space. Hotel has made the most of small outside areas too.

United KingdomPortions for dinner menu were huge. Both meals I had there I ended up not being able to eat what I had ordered - even though it was a starter. One portion of chips shared with my husband was more than enough for both of us. I was disappointed to see that this 'eco' hotel was serving Perrier in glass bottles for their only sparkling water - imported from France. That is not very eco.
Loved being able to eat in the garden. Even though the best area is a smoking area there was no-one smoking there, so we were able to use it. Breakfast was better than in most places we stayed in in Chile. Good ambience. Interesting choices on dinner menu.

United KingdomOne night we asked to book into Casa Sanz and the member of staff on the desk told us we could book for 18:30 but when we arrived they told us it only opened at 19:00. Only a tiny thing but would be good if all staff could be sure on timetables. Apart from that they were super friendly and helpful.
As a vegan, this was the perfect place to stay! The breakfast offers tons of vegan options such as avocado toast, vegan pastries, vegetables, and vegan milk, and the on-site Casa Sanz vegan restaurant is great. The design and decor is quirky and cool, the staff are great, and the room was spacious and clean. The area is super safe, too, with an excellent shopping mall just 15 minutes away on foot.

United KingdomThe reception staff could have been a bit more forthcoming with restaurant and cafe suggestions- maybe a list of these would be useful at reception. Also a map would be good of the local and wider area.
The staff at Bidasoa were lovely and this made our stay very special. The breakfast was also a highlight. Location although a little out from the centre was fine as we managed to use the regular buses. The hotel had a cool laid back feel and Casa Sanz was a lovely restaurant with fantastic vegetarian food.

United StatesWhile the facility was very good, chic and cozy I would recommend the following: Remove the recycle bin from in front of the elevator I never seen that and it does seem sanitary. There is a bit of clutter in front of the lobby and inside.
The staff was very friendly, chatting, smiling and professional. Second, the location and access to the local gym was and excellent. Felt safe amd secure.
