The hotel is well located in the center of La Serena. The hotel has a lot of lovely common rooms and a garden to discover. The personal is super friendly and helpful!

Check-in was very confusing due to staff's complete lack of English and unwillingness / inability to understand my simple but usually passable Spanish. It became extremely frustrating to grasp parking arrangements and breakfast opening hours, both important details due to our early departure. The lovely owner kindly offered an unsolicited room upgrade and apologized for communication limitations. The overnight clerk was really the only, but very unpleasant hiccup we encountered. That and garage opening half an hour late, holding our car hostage as we fretted about making our flight.

Owner upgraded us to palatial modern room in building across the street, most appreciated after a very long day. The breakfast offerings were excellent, although we had to rush through en route to airport. Quiet location but close to main roads. Historic neighborhood.

parking our rental car was a challenge, there is a public parking (8 usd/day) almost adjacent to the hotel, but at the time we arrived (around 1500 hrs) it was completely full. fortunately one of the staff members of the hotel helped us out wonderfully. otherwise it is difficult to park your car closeby at that time. later in the evening both in the parking and on the street much more free places were available.

In the middle of the historic centre of la serena a privately secluded boutique hotel, with nice interiors, very friendly staff. the family room was very spacious with two separate rooms, a hallway with a couch, and a bathroom. quality of the beds was good, bathroom ok. very good breakfast. the hotel is in the middle of the busy and lively centre of la serena, but also the beach was at walking distance (if you like walking, approx 1.5 to 2 km)

When staying at the building across the road, it feels a bit complicated that you have to ask someone in the main building to come with you across the road to open up the other building for you any time you come back.

The bath was a liitle mouldy, the outside patio very nicely set up, but the cushions got too often wet.

Breakfast was ok, a lot of variety in cereals, egg was ok but no coffee only Nescafé which is an absolute no go. Rooms were nicely decorated but a bit smelly, mattress too soft (old?) and the bathroom needs a makeover (water also didn’t really work or was very hard to regulate).

Super nice oasis in not so nice La Serena! Super helpful team, you can also do your laundry there for a nice price.

The optional sauna didn't really get warm which was unfortunate. The room was right next to the breakfast so not that much privacy.

Really good breakfast - many options and of high quality. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very nicely decorated. Excellent location in the old center of La Serena. The garden is beautiful and perfect if you want to relax a bit with many options to sit and lounge. Great optional massage.

The room had some unpleasant smell of old things. We were accommodated in a room with no inside bathroom despite our tariff election included one. It was not a problem because hotel was not full and we were in a separate and more private part of the hotel.

A very spacious and well decorated room and a beautiful property overall. Super warm beds with electric heated underblankets and very warm blankets are super appreciated when the nights in La Serena get cold. The hotel has its spa: ask for Alejandro, their wonderful massage therapist. We loved our stay!

the young lady receptionist, was unfriendly. the only thing that I noticed, the room was cold, since it was the beginning of fall. I was cold. the beds do have heating blankets, one side did not work. heaters in the room would be great.
