PolandWhat is hotel's advantage - the location next to the beach - is also its disadvantage when it comes to the distance to the historic center of La Serena. There is no regular public transport (which is obviously not hotel's fault) and it takes about 40 minutes to get there on foot. Some public areas of the hotel could benefit from renovation.
Hotel is located next to the beach and a promenade. They offered us a room on the 7th floor with an excellent view on the ocean through very large windows. The food served at hotel's restaurant and at pool's bar is excellent - I've eaten the best completo italiano during my stay in Chile. The breakfast is served in the form of buffet with an abundancy of typical breakfast products as well as fruits and cakes. The staff is very helpful, they helped us find and organize trips in the area and gave us some advice on how to get around the area.

Czech RepublicCheck in at 4 PM is disrespectful to guests, unfortunately we noticed it late. In the same way, I would expect that when the rooms are about a few hundred meters from the reception, that someone will help us with the luggages or at least a trolley will be available. The door in room 105 was almost rotten. It should properly be three stars.

ChileThe swimming pool is cold. It would be much better if the water was warm. Some of the furniture looked worn. The music in the swimming pool was not of my taste. The bingo and contests in the swimming pool were just noise to me. I would rater have peace and quiet and not loud music.
Beds are extremely comfortable, and the showers were great. The swimming pool bar is nice. The gave me a very good recommendation for tour company. I really like this hotel.
