Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe hotel is very tired and run down - I stayed in a top floor room and it felt very old and in need of a complete redesign/makeover. I found a dead moth in one of the mugs in the small kitchenette and the windows were extremely dirty. The pool is not a pool, more of an extended bath, which I never saw being used as it was such an awkward size and looked very old. The gym was fine, but they could do with adding some exercise mats for stretching. I was disappointed overall as the photos and four star rating led me to believe the property would be in better condition.
Very clean and the staff were very friendly. Really well located property.

United KingdomThe hotel has a central location and it's in a nice neighborhood. But when we arrived the room they gave us smelled of smoke and they changed it as we requested a non smoking room. The rooms are not as shown on booking.com and you have to wait 20 minutes for hot water to come out of the shower, but no one told us that u til we asked. The staff was very unhelpful regarding suggestions on Santiago, places to visit and restaurants. They were always on the phone, no matter what time you passed by reception. The only nice member of staff worked over night.

I called in the morning to ask if they could call me a cab to go to the airport and the front desk said no, it can only be arranged the night before - that is a first for a so called 4 star hotel and I have visited a great many!!! The pool was opened but guest could not go because of maximum occupancy rules - not even late in the evening.. no plugs to charge your cell in the room, etc etc..

ChileWorn up towels, poor breakfast, would be better not to offer such kind of breakfast and poor reception area..has not even a socket to recharge cel phone and if you stay a bit longer in the reception area after check out killing the time to get into the airport the staff come to you with silly questions as if I am waiting to check in or assuming I am disturbing in such little place... Lift to the rooms only moves up one floor then you have to change lift to reach top floors 4 stars are too much for this Hotel

Greeceno complimentary water in the room. they woke us up at 8.30am without having asked for alarm, both by knocking the door and by calling us. same thing 30mins before the check out. generally one of the worst services I have experienced in a hotel.
