Once undoubtedly a very grand place, unfortunately, now it’s a bit tired - but dint be put off. The essentials are fine.

staff are cold and uncaring, few very common requests are denied. it seems guests needs are not matters to front desk, they are too busy with they mobile phones.

the location is excellent, room has harbor view. the room facilities are good and breakfast is very good.

My room (307), had a side view of the sea, but was directly over a lively bar/brasserie on the next lot. It was going full blast until 3 am. I always carry earplugs when travelling..

Situated right on the Costanera near the pier. Very helpful staff, Their English was, as usual, much better than my Spanish.. Although I looked round the restaurants and bars one or two blocks in, the hotel bar/brasserie was very comfortable, with an ocean view. Large comfortable room and bathroom. Excellent breakfast, hot and cold, to suit all tastes. Good access, all the lifts worked.

Didn’t have a coffee pot or kettle in the room. This is a “must” for foreigners.

The room was spacious-it was a real suite. nice to have a sofa and table.

Some things were a little worn. A dab of paint would help. And the toilet in our room tended to run.

This is a hotel with old world charm, just a bit past it's prime. It reminds me a bit of Fawlty Towers. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. My wife was sick for part of our stay, when I needed to be away, and they took great care of her. The view of the harbour from our room was lovely. The location could not be more convenient. And the breakfast was excellent, as were dinners in the dining room.

Staff and location, Happy that the Classic Hotel was come back.

This is a historical hotel. The room are big and nice view. The Hotel was closes due COVID period and they start recently to receive guests. The restaurant is limited to quick meals and was mis scramble eggs during breakfast. location is the best view fo Puerto montt. The staff is very friendly and hapy people that invite you o talk and share information about the city.

Did not honour the agreed prepaid booking arrangement with credit card. Tried to make me pay more in Chilean pesos than the price was in USD. The carpets throughout the hotel were stained. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and hurt my back.

Perfect place for a break in a nice hotel room with all services....after months in hostels. Price offered was very good. Very near to everything in Puerto Montt. Bus terminal 15 mins away walking.

There is a cafe called Sherlock nearby that has loud music until 5 am. Even though we switched rooms to one facing an inner courtyard we could hear the music and it made it very hard to sleep. Especially since we had to open the double pane windows on account of the heat. I think the hotel's administration should try every recourse they have to get that cafe to lower the music volume, so their guests don't continue to lose sleep over it. I can say I will surely not be returning until that cafe is gone.

The hotel staff were very accommodating. The room was comfortable and very clean.

Beautiful property walking distance to bus stop, restaurants, coffee shops and view of the bay. The staff was very helpful and went out of their way help us with the issue n our original reservation when I had to change the date due to transportation issue. Also they made sure that we get our breakfast on our early check out 😊😊 I wish we have more time to explore the nearby attractions.
