This hotel was good for our one night stopover and the staff were fabulous . The only downside was the bathroom was in need of a paint and looked quite tatty but it was functional. There was also traffic noise in the ground floor double room with bathroom. It suited us for a one night stop over.

We arrived late and left the room at check out time so it was a short visit. The staff were super helpful and nice and looked after our luggage until approx 20.30 as we went on the afternoon penguin trip.Breakfast was nice.The bed was comfortable and we had plenty of hot water and radiators for heating.The hotel is well placed for walking to the meeting point for the penguin excursion and the 'Bus Sur' terminus for Puerto Natales. It took us about 15 minutes. We found several restaurants a couple of blocks away.

The facilities, the staff is just amazing and helpful. Great breakfast. It is possible to cook your meals and do your laundry there. Gustavo is a wonderful human being.

Kitchen was a bit disorganised- but a hostel with lots of people using.

The care and attention to detail from Gustavo surpassed what any guest should expect. I hope more people can be as wonderful of a person as he. Tambien, the breakfast was well thought out for all diet types, and Gustavo made sure to ask us if we needed anything different because of dietary needs. We also had breakfast prepared early because of a trip. Oh ya, and the fully equipped kitchen with herbs, spices, and cooking utensils was dope.

There are 3-4 rooms in a hallway, and when people come and go, it is very loud. You can hear people talking, coughing, walking, and I could hear the guy next to me snoring. I'd recommend ear plugs and be prepared for this.

I had a great stay at Haiken. Communication with host was easy and quick. I had a late arrival, and there was no problem accessing the hostel and my room. The private bathroom was separate from my room, and I could lock it. Lots of hot water. Breakfast was simple and perfect for what I needed. Location was easily walkable from the main downtown. It felt safe to me as a solo traveler

The host, Gustavo, was really friendly and ready to help us with everything. The hostel's site on Instagram has a bunch of information about local places to visit, eat, etc. which is also very helpful. The breakfast was prepared for us really early when asked because we had a tour that started early in the day. The room was cosy and comfortable. There is a washing machine and dryer in the kitchen available for free during certain times of the day, which could be useful.

Breakfast was good - scrambled eggs, yogurt, cereal, bread, cheese, salami, juice, tea and coffee. Staff very friendly and English speaking. Laundry was done for us at no charge. Accommodated us for an early breakfast on the day we were off to see penguins. Bed made and room cleaned each day. Provided soap, shampoo and conditioner. Easy walk to city center and bus station.

Our host was very friendly and helped us with useful tips. We felt very welcomed! The rooms were clean and quiet. The bathroom although separate was private. I would definitely recommend the hostel to others.

Very poor insulation for noise - you could hear the person in the next door room breathing it was so poor! Thankfully there were some respectful guests at the time we were there so we did not have many issues. But we were woken up when some guest left ++early in the morning. The breakfast was ok - I did leave hungry. Also, I am gluten-free and there were not many options.

It is a fairly basic hostal but the room was big and the bed was comfortable. It was ideal for us as it was only a 10 min walk to the bus station and we had a very early start the next day. The staff were very friendly and set up breakfast for us earlier than usual. Would stay there again

Staff were really helpful and friendly. We checked in late one night and out early the next morning. They helped organized a transfer to the airport and got up early to provide breakfast before we left.
