The room was well equipped with fridge and hairdryer. It was spacious with outdoor area. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included but if you needed to leave before breakfast time they made a packed breakfast for you. Great atmosphere and lots of character in the decor of the Hostal.

Parking is a little tight, but it was alright, no more than that.

The shower temperature was a bit temperamental but otherwise everything fine.

All the staff were welcoming and helpful, and spoke good English - booking excursions was very straightforward. The communal spaces were spacious and inviting, and the breakfast was good. Convemient, quiet location close to the bus station and town.

Our room smells very significantly like smoke as people are allowed to smoke freely outside of their rooms, and they are not well insulated. Would definitely be much better hostel if there is only one designated smoking area away from the rooms to accommodate people who don’t love to inhale carcinogens

The staff was very accommodating, and there is parking available. Everything was very clean and there are beautiful colours throughout. We had to leave early, so did not get breakfast so unable to comment on that.

Our bed was on its last legs - the wooden frame creaked and groaned very loudly with every tiny movement - making for a disturbed nights sleep when you were trying not to move and wake your partner up. The mattress was also bowed towards the middle. Such a shame as we liked everything else about the hotel.

Good simple hotel. Nice breakfast with extra options to purchase should you want more. Good facilities and common areas - nice outside areas to sit and the ambience was friendly. Staff super helpful. Rooms simple but everything g you need.

There were few facilities for cooking your own food. Our bed was soft.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a lovely terrace garden shared with the next door room. Communal areas were pretty with plants and information. The buffet breakfast was plentiful with optional cooked breakfast for £1-2. It was very convenient for the bus station and city centre. There were hot meals available in the evening and a bar at very reasonable cost.

Water was warm but not hot, good enough for a shower. The tours didn't seem great value but it's convenient to book with them. Note you have to walk outside for bathrooms and soap for washing hands is only available in one bathroom.

Really good looking place. Breakfast is good if you eat bread (no gluten free bread option). Staff were kind and helpful. Plenty of blankets to stay warm. Great location.

The hostal is nice, the room was clean and the patio is great. The small double room was perfect for one person, it might be a bit small for 2 people. The hostel is between the bus terminal and the city center and to the beach it is a 30-40 minutes walk. The team is very kind and helps with all questions.

Breakfast was basic, although with other items available at a charge. Noise from other rooms was quite loud in the night.

Everything! Especially the staff and general premises, the pictures don’t lie and we were treated so well for our stay. They even let us store our luggage for free while waiting for our night bus.

Lovely, quiet patio to escape the hustle of the city. We travelled with touring bicycles and the staff were very accommodating about us bringing the bikes in the room. Secure storage while we were away in the Elqui Valley.

We especially liked the sunny and spaceous patio where you can sit, relax and have a drink. Overall the location is great, close to the city's plaza and shopping streets. The included breakfast was also very good. We enjoyed our stay very much!
