This is a cute little hostel which gives me a feeling of home. The decorations in common areas and the kitchen are very charming. It’s clean throughout. The beds are comfortable.

So colorfully decorated in Chilean colors, so laid back, so comfortable and quiet, really great staff especially Alicea, who cooked us breakfast every morning, cleaned our rooms , did laundry for a nominal fee, with a smile on her face. Excellent location to walk to the “downtown area.” Located in safe area where hostal is secured.

A little out of the town but easy walk

Comfortable stay, the owner was so helpful organising us a last minute transfer to the airport and he went over and above to help us we really did appreciate it, good shower and they provided a breakfast for our early departure, beautifully decorated!

We were woken up by dogs barking throughout the night but appreciate that there's not much the hostal can do about that... bring ear plugs!

Beautiful outside spaces and the best equipped kitchen of any hostal I've stayed at. We were also provided with a packed breakfast when we had to leave very early in the morning.

The hostal is a 15 minute walk from centre so be prepared for that. There were no bikes in working order.

Very close to the bus terminal, on a quiet side street away from the main part of town. (You do need to walk 5 minutes to get to the center of town for food). Nicely decorated with several places to hang out.

No Aircon despite the desert heat, but there was a fan. Otherwise, no real issues of note!

The hostel is in a quiet area of town however not far from anything of relevance. The bed was cosy and the staff were all friendly and always took care of one's needs with a smile on their face.

Location: This was the only thing that bothered me a bit as it was a bit away from the main square and I did travel alone. However, I would stop by the town after my tours everyday and get my dinner back to the hostel. NOTE: there are bikes that you can use to go into town; I just didnt. Also this is my personal opinion and does not reflect on what other travelers have mentioned.

Staff: Rodrigo (owner - I think), we started corresponding even before I arrived. He helped me with my airport transfer to booking all my tours and giving me recommendations on things to do in Atacama. He was in constant communication even when there were changes in my tour operator. The front desk person (sadly I don't remember her name) - she was always there with a smile and her helpful demeanor. I don't speak Spanish and she does not speak English - however we managed to communicate perfectly to get the messaging across to each other. Room: The room and the bathroom was spacious enough for 1 person and I got a good night's rest after a hectic day of being outside. Hostel: While this is advertised as a hostel, to me it was more of a B&B. This place was immaculately clean and spotless. There is a common kitchen that everyone has access too. I met some fellow travelers and we would all convene in the kitchen in the evening to swap stories and talk about our upcoming days. There is a cute terrace that gives you an unobstructed view of Mt. Licancabur. Breakfast - While I didn't have chance to have breakfast in the hostel as I out of the door before the breakfast time, the front desk lady had a packaged breakfast ready to go. She would ask the previous night what I wanted and had it ready in the fridge for me to take it. Overall - I absolutely loved this hostel and the staff. They are beyond kind and caring and take good of you. I am past my partying days and I wanted a place that was quiet and clean - this hostel went above and beyond to meet my needs. To Rodrigo and staff - Thank You for making my stay pleasant and memorable.

The hostel is a bit outside of the Main Street in town, walk for 10-15 minutes to get there (didn’t really bother us), bed was a bit soft maybe.

Very cute hostal with comfortable room and shower. Great views of the volcano from the deck, they make a very simple breakfast to take with you when you go on tour. Best was Rodrigo who organised all tours for us and was very responsive arranging things when something went wrong on our trip back from Uyuni.

The hotel is situated in a not very pleasant street which is a bit far from the city centre. The shower is a bit small. And it would be great if they could provide drinking water as some other hotels do, as the shops are a bit far.

The hotel is super cute with nice decoration, the rooms/bed are comfortable, the kitchen is super clean and well equipped. Really like the breakfast, which was served in the kitchen and with eggs, bread, cheese, ham, jam, coffee/tea. They give you a snack pack to take if you can't make the breakfast due to early morning tour/departure.

Shower was a bit slow at times but totally understandable as we were in the middle of a desert! There was a little window pane above our door so the sun shone right into the room early in the morning before we needed to get up.

Comfortable bed, amazing breakfast (coffee, tea, juice, bread, cereal, cakes and a choice of scrambled or fried egg), cute communal roof terrace and garden to enjoy some down time after a day of excursion. We were given packed breakfast/lunch on the day we checked out as we left before breakfast hour, which was a lovely touch. The hostel was away from all the bars and restaurants so it was not noisy at all at night.

There were dogs barking all night during our 3 nights there and making it hard to sleep well, but we believe those are stray dogs so there really isn’t much the Hostal can do about it.

The staff, even though they don’t speak English, were very helpful and friendly. The atmospheres and the equipment are also great.
