The location is far from the city centre and closer to the airport, but this is not a problem as I already know the location before the booking, so it is great. The neighbourhood is generally safe but might not be optimal at dark. The toilet is slightly dirty when I used it. Overall still, I think this place is great and I would recommend.

The value for money is great. An easy ride to go here by Uber. The room is comfortable and clean. Room size is decent. The shower is okay. Good lighting. Nice wi-fi connection. The host is very friendly and informative, which is the best part. He is extremely nice from online chatting on the website to in-person communication. You can also order food delivery easily.

Taxidrivers warned about the neighbourhood, at night everything locks down. I did not experience any problems though.

David has created this safe haven close to the airport with an eye for detail. Everything in this house breaths hospitality. Hang out at the green patio, relax on the couch, enjoy the self service breakfast that includes an omelette maker, grab a beer from the fridge against honest prices. Enjoy the hospitality by the very helpful David, he will make sure you have a good stay.

Sol y Luna was a very cute, colorful, clean and tidy place with a lovely courtyard at the front and pretty garden at the back - plenty of room for relaxing and having time on your own if you wanted! The host, David, was friendly and helpful in any way possible! I couldn’t use my credit card for a taxi to get there so he paid for it in cash when I arrived and added it to my bill! He also gave me money for my taxi to the airport the following day as I couldn’t get any $ out from an ATM! I don’t know what I’d have done without him! 🙏 Such a kind and caring person! The breakfast choices were great and everything we could possibly want was provided including snacks to take with us when we left! 🥰 Plus David was the best cleaner of any hostel I’ve ever stayed in! - the place was always spotless! My room was lovely and my bed very comfy! Best sleep in ages! 🤗 The very best thing about Sol y Luna, however, was David’s gorgeous dog! 🐶 I loved her! I booked this hostel mainly for the proximity to the airport. The property is in a residential area with a small supermarket across the road and eateries a few blocks away. Sitting at the front porch behind a slatted fence allowed me to observe the movement of families walking past and get a sense of the neighbourhood. Owner woke up super early to see me out and make sure my transport arrived.

The location has limited access to vegan food. Which of course only affects a small percentage of us.

Awesome owners, so kind and welcoming. Loved the dog Gordita. Nice home and beautiful creative garden. The location is very convenient for airport access so it was perfect for an overnight with a flight the next morning. If you're staying longer, you might want a place that's more walkable for major tourists sites. Or you could Uber from here. Great value.

Great location if you would like to live near the airport. The beauty is that it is also a cheap Uber ride to the metro.(green line) So it is actually easy to go to the city centre. Host is fantastic.

I stayed one night to be close to the airport, and couldn’t be happier with everything. The hosts are incredibly warm and welcoming; they made me feel right at home. The facilities were great, and I felt safe, comfortable, and able to rest after a long journey. Also, their senior dog is a sweetheart!

David is the consummate host - friendly, accommodating, and his place is absolutely spotless. I stayed for only one night to get the airport the next day (very quick Uber trip), and it was pefect. The neighborhood is quiet. David thinks of all the details, and it was a pleasure to stay at his place!

The room walls are paper thin but to be fair ear plugs are provided and I slept like a baby.

Brilliant host, lovely house with seating area outside which was a great place to relax. Clean and has all the facilities you could need. Felt very secure and extremely handy for the airport. The hostel dog is the best bit. The host cannot do enough and will help with anything. There are cold beers and drinks for sale at a good price and food can be ordered in.
