Staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Place was so calm and peaceful. Everything was spotless. Tea coffee, water available 24hrs which was great. Food and wine was exquisite and at reasonable prices.

The deluxe rooms were in their own el Refugio which was much nicer than the regular hotel. Recommend spending more for the deluxe rooms.

The room itself was spacious but the bathroom a little cramped.

Great location just a couple of streets away from the main road. We appreciated the champagne in the room on arrival. They have a really great free water refill station located outside reception that shows you an estimate of how many plastic bottles they've helped save. Reception staff were really friendly, and helped make recommendations on places to eat around town. Many staff spoke English. Breakfast options were more limited than other places we stayed in Chile, but still plenty enough variety with things like cereal, toast, yoghurt and eggs. If you are leaving really early in the morning to go on an excursion, e.g. the El Tatio Geysers, you can tell reception the day before and they'll make up a packed breakfast for you.

It takes 15 min walk to get to main streets and center of San Pedro. El Refugio is located a little farther than the traditional part of the hotel

we were in a double room in the El Refugio part of the hotel. This part is all new (it just opened in 2022). Rooms are spacious, very clean and comfy, bathroom is very nice with great shower. All is very modern and comfortable !

Perhaps the rooms can have an extra mirror outside the bathroom area. I would alsoadd a couple of wall hangers.

The hospitality and the entire services offered were just excellent. The permanent gra/coffee service. The quality of products (Ahmad teas!), the small offers that make a difference (free laundry with a 5 night stay),the breakfast box when tours start before breakfast hours and the location as well as facilities for relaxation.

Just a small note on high level: The packed breakfast (which can be ordered for the day in case you can’t join the breakfast) could be more customisable. For us it consisted of a sandwich, some fruits, a cereal bar and a bottle of water. Since fruits are difficult to eat „to-go“, a second sandwich would have been more convenient.

We stayed in „El Refugio“ of La Casa de Don Tomás. The service was excellent. Coffee and tea were offered the whole day for free. A water dispenser with filtered level was available 24/7 for feee as well. The rooms as well as the common areas are modern facilities. The staff is attentive. Each of our wishes was fulfilled in the best possible way. The location is close to the city but far enough away to have a calm and quiet surrounding. The breakfast buffet was delicious, diverse and fresh. Special wishes are fulfilled such as an omelet. In total, everything we needed was there and we are very happy.

It really would help to have a small refrigerator in the room, it is to hot and is good to have a cool beverage at any time.

Nothing really - all was perfect!

Super friendly staff and very helpful indeed - especially Nicolas! Went out of this way to help, particularly with laundry arrangements, but also in terms of helping out with things like electricity adapters, etc.
