Staff were incredibly helpful during several weeks of planning and questions. And they were most welcoming and helpful while there. My room #1 had a full kitchen.

I think the bed and linen could do with some upgrading but overall for the price this is a wonderful place to stay

Spacious cabin and kitchen. Great views of a lovely garden and you can hear the sound of the sea. Wonderful friendly hosts who can also do tours in Spanish. Friendly little dogs at the property. I enjoyed staying here very much

The Wi Fi in our room was weak, we have to sit on a bench next to the office to get the fast connection. Also, the bathtub can be really slippery - beware. Paper towels or napkins in the kitchen can be useful. But these are small things, they did not spoil our vacations.

Nice clean bedroom with bathroom, good clean private kitchen, excellent private terrace for breakfasts. The garden view and the sea view from the bedroom and from the breakfast terrace. Spacious fridge in the kitchen, convenient gas stove. During the night we opened French window door to the garden, and had excellent sleep with sea air and the sound of waives. The garden is beautiful with a lot of flowers and exotic fruit trees. The general atmosphere is quiet, relaxing, beautiful, and comfortable. The hosts, Vicky and Marcelo, are excellent. If you don't have problems with understanding Spanish, then Marcelo is a really good guide, he knows a lot about the island, is a good storyteller, and has a good car. They will meet you at the airport with flowers, and transfer you to the airport on the departure day. The location is close to Ahu Tahai (sunsets!), walking distance from museum Rapa Nui, next to interesting cemetery (worth visiting) and good restaurant Topa Raa, 10 minutes from the Hanga Roa harbor. To buy groceries for breakfasts, we went to supermercado Hinova, open 9 am - 10 pm, 15 minutes walk from the cabanas. it has all we need. Hosts don't serve breakfast.

Wifi connection is very weak in the room. It is good for digital detox. Nowadays, many tourists have SIM cards for travel. It will not so big problem?!

Very friendly and helpful hosts! I was able to relax and enjoy myself. Watching the sunset at sea, seeing sea turtles, eating at the restaurant, convenient but relatively quiet and pleasant.

The owner lady is very nice and helpful. Her daughter provided us a few private tours which was very nice and convenient. The location is excellent!

One chair and small table would be nice on the terrace of this house (as others seems to have) I know, I would got them if I would ask.

Absolutely great accommodation! Everything is so clean and all works great. Even there was a feeling that my house is in the jungle, there was NOT even one bugs, gecko or anything during 6 days. Very peaceful, lovely atmosphere and staff really take care of you. Good location near the good restaurants and moai sunset place. Even the Easter Island is quite expensive in everything, this place is not. It’s great value for your money.

    Wifi is a little weak.

A beautiful garden, an ocean view and welcoming hosts. It’s a five minute walk to the best sunset spot and away from the noise of the Main Street (though still only a short walk away from restaurants and the store). The room is simple, comfortable and has everything you need.

    - The bed was uncomfortable - mattress needs to be replaced, or a better topper. Sleep is my #1, and it’s tough to spend a week with springs digging into your back. - I was supplied with half a 10L bottle of drinking water, and told the water from the tap is not potable. But was charged for a new one mid-week… and they didn’t have any on hand, so I spent a full day without drinking water. Big miss, in my opinion, on a basic necessity. - Because of my length of stay, I bought groceries and cooked a lot. The kitchen was very haphazard. No hot water in the kitchen sink (only in the bathroom.) Dishes and utensils were not properly washed and many utensils were rusting. Knife was barely sharp enough to cut a tomato. - The wife was generally curt. Seemed annoyed anytime I needed anything (like drinking water), despite being warm and very polite with her. - Husband gave me a time of 12:30 to head to the airport. Wife was upset that I wasn’t out of my room at 10:00. I saw neighbours check out of their room at the time of their ride to the airport, and there was no mention of being out of my room at 10 when the airport arrangements were confirmed. Not to mention… only one of 10+ rooms were in use, and they had no one checking in that day. So while I can appreciate that I may have misunderstood their requirements, it seemed needless to be unpleasant about it, and wasn’t handled with hospitality. All told, enough cons that I would not recommend this place to friends, and would suggest they try somewhere else.

Several pros, several cons - this is a tough place to rate. - Loved the location. A quiet corner of Hanga Roa, very close to Tahai, which is easily visited solo for sunset. 5min walk to a stretch with great restaurants. - Owned by a local couple. The husband is particularly friendly and helpful. - Airport pickup and dropoff, with leis, was a really nice touch, particularly as it was included. - Spacious room, big kitchen area. Everything was clean (except in the kitchen, see below.) - The property itself is very quiet (partly because they had very few guests.) - Nice garden to sit in if you wish to read or relax.

Cleanliness and hygiene was just about average. Kitchen floor was sticky and grimy, room floor looked visibly clean but feet ended up being brown after a few minutes of walking. So much so that I had to wash my feet with soap/detergent each time I wore socks or got into bed.

The owner was very pleasant, organised airport transfers, facilitated the guide and other utilities. The location of the property was quite nice too, walkable from the sunset point of Ahu Tahai.

The place could have a little more maintenance. And some better beds, it can be understood due to the lack of materials and prices on the island.

Great location and space, and the staff was super helpfull. The offered wifi singal from starlink so it was verry good considering you are in the middle of the pacific.
