The room could benefit from a little bit of maintenance and renovation

The staff of this hotel was incredibly helpful and friendly! They promptly communicated and answered our questions before arriving. We really appreciated the possibility to check in earlier after our long flight from Europe, and that we could leave our luggage a few days after the stay as well. The bed was comfortable and the room spacious. The location is great to visit the main attractions and center of Santiago, and the hotel is in a very quiet my street without noises at night.

Perfect location in the centre of the city, minutes from main sights, Baquedano metro station and the wonderful Jose Victorino Lastarria Street with its superb bars and restaurants. Beautiful, spacious and tastefully-appointed room, great shower, quiet and efficient A/C. The hotel is intimate and friendly, staff always on hand to help. We were really made to feel at home and would thoroughly recommend this charming boutique hotel. Excellent value for money. 10/10 in every way.

The front desk staff were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. They held our luggage for several hours after checkout, in a locked room, while we saw the city and killed some time until we had to leave for the airport. A nice touch was the bottle of wine and wine glasses they left for us in the room.

Very hard to find the first time - just a door with a buzzer you have to press. Once checked in you get a key to open it and the combination for the inner door.

Breakfast was really good, scrambled eggs and lovely fresh bread. Handy location to walk into Lastarria for dinner etc. Good sized room with aircon and a comfy bed.

BHB is in a wonderful location on a quiet street just off of a busy street and across from Forestal Park. It is very close to Lastarria and Merced streets which are full of restaurants and shops. It is also close to Baquedano subway stop. I stayed 3 different times in 3 different rooms and all were bright and roomy. One visit I stayed in the biggest room which also had a balcony and that was delightful. The staff was very friendly and helpful and went out of their way when I had some other travel issues. They offered great food recommendations as well as transportation help. Breakfast was really good with made to order eggs, whole pieces of fresh fruit were always available as was hot water. I really liked the modern decor of the rooms and the hotel had good security.

Such a gem in the trendy Lastarria district, set in a quiet location close to the Parque Forestal, yet walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants and bars, the historical part of the city, Bellavista and Providencia. The breakfast was perfect and plentiful with more than just bread and mermelade and included eggs, cheese, fruit, yogurt and cereal. The staff are very professional and eager to make your stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. Absolutely loved it.

Right outside the hotel was drug activity that we witnessed (drug sale and drug use). We were warned by a local not to loiter on the street because it was dangerous.

.daytime was fine, not so sure how safe it would have been for a single female traveler at night.

Staff was extremely accommodating. I arrived very early and they had my room ready for an early checkin. Breakfast selections were very nice. Departed very very early in the wee hours of the morning, and they had breakfast items set out for me. Room was very comfortable, even thought the room itself wasn’t very big. Locate was pretty good, centrally located near most attractions

The location is incredibly convenient, as the hotel is within walking distance of many attractions/restaurants and also close to a couple of metro stations. The room is comfortable and clean, with an adequate amount of space. The breakfast is satisfactory, and even though you may not have the choices of a grand hotel, you will still have the opportunity to enjoy a varied breakfast selection including fruit, cornflakes, cakes, bread, butter, marmalade, eggs, ham, cheese, coffee, tea, fruit juice, and more. The staff is extremely kind, and a special mention goes to the receptionist Tamei (I hope I spelled the name correctly), who provided us with very precise and useful tourist information upon our arrival and was always ready to fulfill all our requests. If we return to Santiago, we will definitely choose this place again.
