Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThe views, staff, and food were all amazing. Also, the beds were incredibly comfortable. Highly recommend! We emailed with the hotel and they helped us coordinate a driver to get around. I recommend renting a car or doing something similar for activities.

AustraliaFurniture in rooms is minimalistic. Rooms are of good size but there is no cupboard space to hang clothes. There are no chairs in the rooms. Wooden floors and stairs are very noisy particularly if you score room next to stairwell. There is no where to eat dinner other than hotel restaurant where food is very ordinary for the price.
Sensational views of Torres del Paine mountains and Rio Serrano from all windows (even the shower). Coffee and tea available all day in lounge areas. Pleasant outdoor sitting areas. Staff very helpful when we encountered some travel problems.

This is a great hotel. We stayed for 4 days and wish we had planned to stay longer. The views of the Cuernos from the hotel are amazing. The kids loved seeing the horses all around the property. Its a relaxing place to come back to after the great hikes in Torres del Paine. Breakfast was great, the staff is very attentive and accommodating.

United Stateshonestly the temperature in the room was too hot. and when i opened the windows there was no screen so a lot of the bugs came inside due to attraction of the lights
i love the fact that it was so open to its nature surroundings and really took that into perspective with clean simple design that gave it its own aesthetic feel without compromising the view of the mountains itself

United StatesThey need a sign in the parking lot telling guests where to go. We wandered around trying to figure out where to go and I thought maybe the place had closed down because it was just empty buildings. The next day we encountered confused guests in the parking lot and helped them find the correct path.
Scenery was amazing! Common area was very comfortable.

United StatesNothing to complain about. It's comfy, clean, and best views ever. But, if you have a second story room, be careful on the stairs, as in all of Chile. Changing rise and run.
The view is stellar. Whoever designed this place was an artist. Framed views everywhere. Floir to ceiling views from the lounge and breakfast area. From our room, and even from the bathroom, views of Los cuernos del paine. Clean, very comfy bed, great breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff. Wonderful place to enjoy after a long day in the park.

PortugalThere isn't consistent wifi in the rooms. No fridge nor even a chair. These are improvements that can be done easily by the management.

United StatesThe breakfast was pretty typical of any hotel breakfast style in Chile that is always included-again, at the quite high nightly price, it should be resort, not hotel level. Also, the room should have a mini-fridge-again, I had a rental car that I drove in from Puerto Natales where I stocked up on drinks, etc. Also, while it was unseasonably hot the 3 days I stayed there in mid-Dec. (start of summer-one day it got up to 75F!), it would be a good idea to have a portable fan in the room or at least available since with the huge glass windows for the view, well, the room heated up way too much during the day while I was out but housekeeping didn't lower the shades after cleaning the room or even open the side glass window vent to let fresh air in. Finally, upon arrival in the parking lot, there is not even a sign of where to go-there are a few buildings on the property (one the restaurant and the other the staff quarters) that are right next to the parking lot whereas the actual lodge is quite a walk-at least they have a hand truck to get your luggage moved into the lodge.
Well, if one is traveling to Torres del Paine NP it is very isolated requiring staff to live on site and food, etc. to be driven in from Puerto Natales about 90 mins. away. Thus almost all accommodations just outside of the park (like this one) or inside tend to be very, very expensive yet not all-inclusive in general. The lodge is quite elegant-the rooms all have HUGE glass windows which is required to present the stunning vista of the mountains and landscape/river. And the rooms are also quite large. They also have horseback riding facilities on site which was very convenient as the 1/2 day ride was a nice, relaxing experience. And the staff, particularly Andrea, was pleasant and helpful-she was able to change my room to get closer to the wifi router so that I could actually research how I would navigate the National Park in my rental car. Management needs to add routers all the way down the lodge-the room I was changed to was just above the lobby/dining area.

United StatesI would encourage the staff to provide more information on the surroundings of the park to guest, especially related to activities/hikes/etc. The restaurant could be improved as well — we can appreciate that it’s expensive to import food, but the food was overpriced and the service wasn’t great.
Views from the property are amazing! The rooms are very comfortable.

ItalyThe internet wifi is not working in the rooms, only in common area. when I pay 300USD per night, this should absolutely be possible. also, despite the breakfast being okay good, it is inacceptable that the food was taken away sharp at 9.30am and the waiter started hovering the room while we still had breakfast. Although the breakfast was officially only until 09.30am I consider this still ridiculous especially for this price. another couple coming to breakfast at 9.40am did not receive any food anymore.

New ZealandVery few facilities, no useful information was able to be provided on the park or visitor options around. Wi-Fi was poor (only in communal areas) and overall it was very overpriced considering the above for in my view 2 star accommodation
The outlook was nice, the rooms were very basic but reasonably comfortable

GermanyAlthough the people are very nice, the level of serviec does not match the price for the room. We arrived and the electricity did not work, heating system was also not working for the first night. On the second day, after our hiking trip, the very friendly staff informed us, that they will start the generator for us to have a hot shower. Only based on requested we got the information that besides tea and coffee also other drinks can be served in the lounge (the restaurant is in another building). This is all fine as the staff made their best to make our stay as comfortable as possible, but this does not match the price per night in the lodge.
Friendly staff and amazing view from the room Lounge area/ breakfast room is huge with a cozy fire place Breakfast buffet with a lot of varieties
