If you are planing a trip to san pedro de atacama this palce is highly recommended! Right in the center and close to everthing. The staff are realy kind and helpfull. The rooms are great, i stayed in a 4 bed doorm- the beds are comfy, you have shelves for your things and lockers. The kitchen is well equipped and you have place to store your food. It has hammocks to chill and outdoor furniture to relax after your daily tours. And for me the most importent thing in a hotel or hostel- its very very clean!!! If youll miss breakfast cos you have an early tour- they will prepare you a take away bag with- sandwich, cereal bar, yogurt and juice box.

Travelled with office colleagues, but since most of the hotels/hostels/bnbs are fully booked, I'm grateful that I was able to get a room at Anka. Anjelica is a super nice person. She's very patient to answer and to prepare things for the guests. Packed breakfast is available for the guests with early trips!

The room was a little tight for two people. But luckily you just need it for sleeping.

Cozy hostel in the center of San Pedro. The outdoor dining space was very nice and airy. A few hammocks to lay in. When we left early for tours they always prepared a little snack bag with a juice, granola bar, sandwich and yoghurt.

Lovely and caring staff members! Big thanks to them :) The kitchen was well-equipped, breakfast was phenomenal and nutritious, bathrooms and rooms were cleaned spotless on a daily basis. Central and super convenient location, and despite being centrally located, the hostel was calm and quiet.

The facilities are great but as a hostel it is not particularly social. Better for independent travelers and couples looking to chill.

Very friendly staff that keeps the place the meticulously clean. They will make you a packed breakfast if you're leaving for an early tour. Perfectly located with the center of town a short walk away.

Everything was super clean! Great kitchen with everything you need and more. Great spaces to just chill or work. Good WiFi. Oh and not to forget the breakfast. You get fresh eggs (scrambled or fried) every morning. This place is surely the best hostel to stay in San Pedro. I stayed 4 nights in total

Had a pleasant stay at Anka! The hostel is well located in the center of San Pedro de Atacama. Angelica and Patricia were so welcoming and helpful! The shared bathrooms were always clean and in good condition. Breakfast was good and in case you book an early tour they will prepare a snack to go for you.

Loved the location, one minute from Caracoles (main pedestrian street with shops and restaurants). The staff is very nice, Angelica was very helpful. I called her before arriving to book a tour to see flamingos and she suggested which one to do and helped arranging it. Also I left early every day so they prepared a small bag with a yogurt, sandwich, cereal bar and juice.

A small negative was heating music from bar in town but didn’t stop me sleeping.

Friendly helpful staff and a relaxed feel. Could cook a meal there. Comfortable beds. Good location right in the heart of town.

Central, nice tranquil breakast area. The manager was lovely and organised a takeaway breakfast for me on a day I was leaving early for a flight and would miss breakfast! It also felt safe and secure with the front gate to the hostel lockable.

The shower temperature is hard to adjust. Very hot or not hot enough.

Location was excellent and the staff couldn’t be better. Everyone is always ready to help you with anything and Angelica is really lovely. Room had a good size, always clean and beds were relatively comfortable.

The shower changes all the time the temperature of the water while you are having a shower, sometimes too hot and too cold.

Anka is the cleanest hostel that I’ve been to, not to mention about the architecture, very beautiful and cozy. The staff is super friendly and they work hard to keep everything cleaned and organized, it’s very impressive and I loved them. Even the room they organize every bed and change the towels, also they have shampoo, conditioner and soap available in the bathroom. The breakfast is very good, considering that we are talking about a hostel and the staff prepares a delicious scrambled eggs. You will feel like a home! I will miss Anka and for sure if I come back to Atacama I will stay their. ❤️🥹

4 person dorms are a little small. The disadvantage of being in the convenient location in the center of town is that music from nearby bars can be heard clearly until 2 am.

The breakfast could begin earlier, because most of the tour begin before, so you won't be able to eat in the hostel mostly. The room could also be a bit lighter, and the shower is small, but nothing too problematic.

Room was cleaned every day, very comfy, clean, staffs very friendly, breakfast included, and they provide a snack if you leave earlier. The room and the bed are great, and the breakfast is very good. There is always tea and coffee available the whole day.

I missed having a laundry facilities but there are many options in the main street so its not really necessary to have it. The rooms are a little bit small but for me it was ok because they have a really nice outdoor space.

I have been to many hostels around Europe and Brazil and this one is so far one of the best I've stayed. The location is perfect, right in the corner of the main street of San Pedro of Atacama. The staffs are great, the rooms are cleaned everyday and is cozy, with many blankets as you wish. The breakfast is really good and if you have any tours early in the morning you can ask and they will prepare a ready to go breakfast. They have a well equipped kitchen so you can cook and store food/drinks and they have a really nice outdoor space for chilling out.
