Wifi is excellent and so is location. Host is very prompt and helpful with my queries. Pickup and drop off went without issues. Room and bed is comfortable. Staff is very friendly. Breakfast is ample.

It was an easy walk to downtown from the Lodge. The room was clean. The staff friendly. The breakfast was good for us that eat meat not so good for a couple of our party that were vegetarians. There were a couple hiccups but were remedied quickly. Ran out of gas for hot water and power went out which was our fault for running the A/C and hot water kettle at the same time. Once we knew then no more problems. Overall a cute place and very affordable.

The location was wonderful and close to all we needed. The little cabins were delightful and homey. I loved the chickens who would come by each morning in search of breakfast scraps. Mariana was an attentive host who greeted me at airport with a floral necklace and was happy to help with any request I made. The breakfast was good-deli meats, fruits, and breads-a typical breakfast for the island. The lush tropical plants growing on the property were very pretty. The shower water was hot and there was a little kitchen if we ever wanted to cook something our selves. I truly enjoyed staying here in this superb accommodation.

Magdalena was a wonderful host. she picked us up from the airport with a flower garland each and a hug. she made us feel like her guests the entire weekend rather than customers. the location is really great for the main area of Hanga Roa.

Beautiful cabin, close to the centre and walking distance to view points, turtles and moais. Magdalena was very friendly, she helped us with everything we needed, she made us feel welcomed. Delicious breakfast every morning. Totally recommended 👌

I only have great things to say about our stay at Tuava. Magdalena went out of her way to make our stay great. They offer free pick-up at the airport. She even worked with our schedule for breakfast if we had early morning activities which alot of places would not do. The location is excellent and it is a 5 to 10 min walk from the main streets. The kitchenette was a great addition for when we needed to make our own meals and there was a fridge available. They even helped us to book our tour for the park. The bed is very cozy and the shower has hot water. If we return we will be coming back!

You need hooks! In the bathroom for the towels and in the bedroom for jackets, clothes etc. And a shelf in the bathroom for bathroom stuff like shaver etc. the sink is too small. The toilet can't flush toilet paper (expect that pretty much everywhere on the island). The toilet got clogged after using it and didn't flush down what was left in it, despite not having used toilet paper. It took a day of flushes and hot water buckets from us to free it again. The water tap solely holds via ducked tape and flew off like a rocket, several times when we used it. Because of that tape it also can't be moved during doing the dishes. The pipe under the kitchen sink also just holds via ducked tape. It suddenly came off once and foooded the whole kitchen area. The whole property looks like it aged a lot and has already seen its best years. It was still comfy though, just expect simple. There were lots of tiny holes (not to the outside) and cracks in the walls. We've had two cockroaches inside (or two we knew about). The cracks and holes make it easy for them to stay there or get into in the first place. It's a tropical island, I am aware and I don't judge, but well I think it's fair to say one could do sth. about the cockroaches by at least not giving them extra hiding spots and closing entries for them. Also no shower gel and no shampoo. No bikes (anymore).

The staff was super friendly. The breakfast is nice and the location is super, just 5 minutes by foot to the mainstreet and 10 minutes by foot from the airport. Quite streets. The value for the money paid was fair. Bike rentals nearby. Take a bike to get around or walk, everything is nearby in the village. You won't need a car except for the faraway beaches. We did those by bike too though, just 18 km, a beautiful 1 hour ride.

There was no office in this lodge. We were met by a staff member who picked us up at the airport. However, only through chance were we able to locate him again near the end of our stay to fix and electical problem and to give us a ride back to the airport. Also, no effort was made to change towels or provide toilet paper when needed. With no office to go to and no telephone number handy to call (at least initially), it was hard to get any problems solved. Also, we saw more cats and chickens than we did people who operated the hotel.

Breakfast was fine and was delivered to our room each morning. However, we did not know exactly when it would be delivered.

It is very loud with car noise and all animal noises since it is close to the street. Water is great to take shower. However, bed isn’t very clean as I’m allergic to dust and keeps sneezing when get to bed.

The TV was broken by a previous guest, but that didn't bother us. The AC was under maintenance, but we were quite happy with the box fan Magdalena offered us. There were dogs, cats, chickens roaming freely in the property, but that's just island life in Hanga Roa :)

Magdalena is super sweet! She picked us up from the airport with lovely leis and gave us a quick tour of the town. She also recommended good restaurants and made sure breakfast was delivered every morning.
