Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe place doesnt have mosquito nets and gets super hot at night so its impossibile to sleep with the window closed resulting in dozen of bites. Not great in a place with Dengue.
Location is great and Pauli was super nice in helping us organizing our time in rapa nui Also the bunk bed in the second room is quite big and confortable for adults (110cm probably)

Pauli and team were fantastic. We had a lovely ciew of the sunsets from our balcony. Location was also very good, as the Main Street was just a short walk away.

CanadaThere wasn't a single thing we disliked about our stay!
Booking process with the owners was extremely easy, they sent us everything we needed to know in advance. You need a letter from your accommodations and to complete paperwork for Easter Island before traveling to the island and you need to book a guide and pay a park fee ($80usd; valid for 10 days with the exception of select single entry sites) to visit any area of Rapa Nui park other than Tahai (in town) and Anakena. You need several days with a guide to see all of the island (they recommend at least 3 days and we paid $150,000 CLP per day for a group of 3 including transport and guide). They even set up transport who were waiting for us at the airport and dropped us off after. Sunset from the patio was stunning, the location was easy walking distance to the beaches, grocery stores (Henua Market was best), fresh markets, vehicle rentals, and Tahai. We highly recommend Ata for your tour guide; his parents were some of the original archeologists on the island and his english, spanish, and rapa nui were perfect, making it very easy to see the island in only 2 days (we wish we had more time). The owners can give you his information and he can be contacted easily by whatsapp. The room was very spacious, beds were comfy, great kitchen space, and really happy to have stayed here!
