For your room to be cleaned, you need to ask the cleaning staff directly; otherwise, it will not be done. Over three nights, we found three live medium-sized spiders, something that did not happen at another place providing the same type of service in the city.

Location near downtown and modern bedroom furniture. Pleasant area with outdoor chairs.

We had the room near the entry door. We would wake up at times with people coming & going with the noise.

The closeness to the Main Street was great.

Just 1 common bathroom (toilet+shower) for all rooms without bathroom + staff living on the facility. Sometimes end up waiting really long for someone to finish shower to just use toilet:/ Would be so much better if shower and toilet were separated

Some nights there was no hot water and/or no water at all. So you just had to take a shower when you could.

The staff are really helpful, friendly and accommodated our very late check in. The bed was really comfortable and the room temperature perfect in the day and night despite not having heating/cooling. The location is great as it is away from any noisy pubs/restaurants yet close to everything. The common garden/courtyard are really nice to relax in.

Basically nothing! Only that the water pressure and temperature could be difficult to control if having few people shower at the same time,

The location is perfect and the staff are exceptionally chill and nice! We tried the make the payment in USD cash, not only the staff is willing to accept but they don’t even charge us for additional amount or give us a bad exchange rate. Also, I do like that they don’t have any associated travel agencies that keep pursuing us to join the day tours. Instead, they gave us some sincere advice of which travel agencies are actually good around the city, and reminded us not to take the first one right away and go at least two agencies for comparison! Lastly, we checked out very early in the morning that no staff were there, we accidentally took away the room key and we noticed it after going through the security in the airport! We informed the hotel staff right away but nth we can do already….we were so sorry about that. However, the hotel didn’t blame us and didn’t not even charge us for that. We all feel that the hotel staff are really nice and helpful.

If you want to have the worst welcome, then go there. I never experienced a stay like it. The staff is unbearable, rude. My room was not ready when I arrive, they cleaned it in 10min in front of me (just changed the sheets). Didn’t show me where was the common bathroom/toilets. Didn’t speak at all. The staffs were not friendly and honestly rude. I was happy to leave! I don’t recommend this stay.

The townhouse was very noisy, with street traffic and pedestrians milling around our front door at late hours, It made it difficult to sleep. The room has inadequate natural light and only a window with bars to the street. The internet was very poor in the townhouse and basic service like water/power was in short supply due to the New Year

The place is central and well appointed - we were set up in a separate townhouse that was only accessible off the main corner and not part of the overall courtyard setup. It was spacious and pleasant. The staff are very helpful and attuned to issues.

It had not been cleaned not even once during our stay (6 nights). We had to ask for toilet paper every day because they didn’t replace it. We were charged more than described on the site during our booking.

Location and the common space are good. The place has potencial to be a good hotel, however they should invest more in customer experience.

I prefer a softer mattress. Mine was very firm. No microwave in the common area kitchen and I couldn't figure out how to get the stove to work. My room (tulor) was right next to the front entrance so I was able to hear everyone that came to/left from the property. I stayed at the end of August and my room, even though the rest of the common areas and courtyard were warm, my room was freezing - even with a flat sheet + fleece blanket + another blanket + comforter. There's no fan in the room so I'm sure it would be very very warm in the summer. I would not opt to open the window more as you'd be able to hear much more noise. The bathroom is quite small for the size of the bedroom and I felt very squeezed.

It was in a great location for restaurants, bars, tour shuttle pick up, souvenir shops and within 10 minutes walk to the main bus station. The water pressure and temperature in the shower were great. The staff were friendly and helpful and were able to launder and fold my items (for an extra fee) within a day. The wifi connection was decent and the room was spacious.

Location is great, very close to the main street but still a quiet place with a nice garden. Filipe was absolutely amazing and couldn’t do enough to make sure I was enjoying your stay.

It's a very quiet hostel if that's something you are looking for.

Great location and it is a cheap hostel but you still need have a functioning WC and water.. even cold water. I know water is an issue in San Pedro as the scale of tourism has gone through the roof but other hotels/hostels etc seem to have a strategy. This is a house in the process of being converted in to an assortment of various rooms/dorms etc but the infrastructure is not there to accommodate it. Again, the staff want to help and gave me a discount for the issues described. - they were building out the room next to me so contruction work was happening directly beside me - one day WC didn't work so had to go to a cafe - water is not hot until later in the day (which is fine) - no water whatsoever on last morning

Staff are very nice and are appear to having to deal with lots of issues with the property. Respectful to comments and concerns. Great location and lovely courtyard.
