Like other reviews mentioned, there is lot of noise from bars late at night. This wasn’t an issue for me but if you’re a light sleeper it could be a problem.

I had the supreme king room. It was spacious and comfortable. The common areas are great and the upper outdoor level has beautiful views of the ocean. The owners are very friendly and helpful.

Nice place If you are looking for a quiet hostel, look for something else. They is a bar in the hostel. So it can be noisy late at night. There is a beach near the hostel. The hostel is far from the center but 15min walking from the bus terminal.

I saw a cockroach the first night in the bathroom. The floor in the room was not cleaned for a long time.

The staff is very polite and helpful. The hostal is near a big mall, less than 10 minutes walking distance. It is a great thing that the facility has a bar on the terrace above.

Kitchen small and gets crowded when many people cooking meals. Only one bathroom inside, the rest outdoors. The water is not drinkable and the hostel does not provide filtered water

Thin walls featuring excessively loud car noises, badly sung karaoke songs from the local next to the hostel and parties close to the beach. If you can't sleep in a noisy environment, it probably won't be the most restful stay

As many people have said, you need to be prepared for loud music coming from outside the hostel until 4am.

Great location, very close to the beach. Our room was clean and comfortable. Our host was friendly and welcoming. Perfect stopover for a night or 2.

The hostel is located in a very vibrant and alive party of the city, so eventually the noise from outside will bother you. Much more a problem of the location than the hostel itself, however soundproof walls could help too.

Loud noise from the nearby bar at night well past 11pm.

It is a great location right on the beach in Arica. There are some good common areas and lots of public spaces nearby. Staff were very friendly and spoke good English and Spanish.

Noise was a problem - the rooms aren't very well sound-proofed so we could hear someone snoring in the next room and also music from a nightclub at 4am

The walls are pretty thin so you hear everything and everyone. It is located near a few clubs with loud music, so don´t forget the earplugs for a good night sleep.

The atmosphere is really relaxed. It is mostely run by volunteers which do a really good job. They have a weekly bbq. The owner took as to the airport at 5:30 am. Outside is plenty space to relax.

Not the fault of the hostal but the bars right next door played music until 5am several nights. We slept with earplugs so it was manageable so come prepared!

Amazing location just adjacent from the beach and a short walk from a well stocked mall, grocery store, hardware store etc. Nice kitchen and indoor/outdoor seating. Lounge area with big TV and sofas, and storage for bicycles/surf boards etc. Upstairs bar and terrace. Nice staff. We stayed in deluxe room and it had everything including mini fridge, kettle, bathroom, ample storage, TV and drinking water.

Very friendly host and nice hostel with a good price. The rooms are basic but comfortable. The hostal has a large and nice common area. It is located next to what we think is the nicest beach close to Arica. We even were allowed to check in early at 6;00 am.

There is a nice area where you can hang out and chill. Also the possibility to cook. There are enough bathroom facilities and you even have the option to include breakfast. It is very close to the beach which is nice on a hot day. Would definitely come back!
