How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

the lighting switch is not very user-friendly. all the staff were very nice but can be with more initiatives. more training will be beneficial to them. food is so-so. but there is a very big, nice shopping mall next to it. Dining should not be an issue for travelers.
With lots of storage space. New interior design with wooden floor tiles instead of carpet. spacious.

Perfect hotel! Great location. Very close to Metro and huge trade centre. Free laundry. Very spacious room of two rooms with a small kitchen. very stylish design!

the AC blows right into the beds which is uncomfortable to me while it’s very hot outside and the AC had to be turned to a very cold temperature.
it’s a modern style. loved the green tropical like decoration at the entrance. rooms are clean. staffs are friendly.

when I got in the room i had that smell of cigar smoke, thow the hotel use the air freshness machine it doesn’t goes away.
is a nice deco and comfortable hotel, near to offices and shopping malls. the attention in the restaurant was very good and food too.

Instructions on how to find it. I had to ask 3 different people and was going around in circles. Not easy to access after 8pm. This extended my arrival time by over an hour and also when leaving the next morning as was trapped within the shopping centre trying to get to the metro.
Loved the recycle art wall and loungish feel of the foyer

It would be nice if the room service doesn't change the towels everyday for sustainability considerations.
Location is perfect though a bit difficult to find for the first time if you come by public transportation. The hotel offers a delivery robot so it was really convenient to order take-aways. Our little one had a lot of fun following the robot around.

This hotel is built immediately adjacent to a rail yard. You can't see the rail yard. It is under the parking lots and buildings. Beginning at about 2 AM there are very loud train air horns that will wake even the heaviest sleeper. The train horns go off every 30 to 45 minutes until about 6:30 AM. We stayed here for 8 days on the back of the hotel. We never got a full night's sleep. The hotel is adjacent to a building where we were attending a business conference. Another problem is the wi-fi. We arrived on a Thursday night. We could not use the wi-fi. Friday we asked for help at the front desk. They said their IT person would be in Monday. We used our China Mobile hotspot for the weekend so that we could work on our laptops. Monday afternoon they let us know the wi-fi was working again. I could barely use my VPN. After 2 days the wi-fi was so weak again that we went back to using the hotspot. The cell phone hot spot was always better than the hotel wi-fi. Sad. This is completely unacceptable for business travel. Another problem is the hotel is very difficult to find. It is located behind a mall in an office park. The front is nothing but woods. Drivers have a very difficult time finding the entrance. There were other serious problems too but not worth getting into. We strongly suggest staying at a different hotel.
We liked the housekeeping people. They were very good and kind. The robot was fun also. It brought us ice in the evenings.

the sound insulation is poor. woke up in the middle of the night from the guest next door using toilet. the airco does not have a very still mode for sleeping.
my room has a great view of the city. The cleaning lady was very kind, professional and helpful. We felt welcome.
