NetherlandsOne employee maybe, not realy friendly but not rude either. Maybe because all other aspects of this hotel is so perfect, otherise not even noticable.
Cleanness, nowhere dusty, at least not very visible like many other hotels we have visited in China, all of them quite luxury hotels. And the coffee machine, near receptie, always available to guests, good beans!

EVERYTHING! room was big for 4of us (2adults+2kids), bathroom huuugggeeee with bathtub+separate shower, full kitchen amenities, walk-in wardrobe with a lot of mirrors in the room. it was a really nice stay. breakfast selections changed everyday (they even pay attention to provide vegetarian/muslim friendly foods for us! the hotel is also in a short walking distance to dongzhimen station. all is good! thumbs up!

CanadaThe bed was mediocre... I also wish the staff knew better about the neighborhood. We talked to three staff and nobody could tell us how to easily get to the airport express line. We were told that the underground connection was inconvenient and that we should just go across the street. If anybody wants to walk to the subway's E entrance with huge luggage - You cannot cross the street from the southeast to the northeast of the intersection because it is blocked. Please try to cross to the north side and go east...
The location is pretty convenient, close to the subway and airport express lines. Nice room with purified water which I find is rare in China. Nice shower and bath, and the breakfast was good too.

GermanyThe size of the apartment was announced with 75 sqm, which seems to be a little bit over-exaggerated, we estimate around 60 sqm. Furthermore, the level of English speaking skills amongst the personnell must be improved.
We stayed twice in Ascott Raffles City during our recent trip to China. First in September and then in October during the so called "Golden Week". It was absolutely excellent! Very friendly and helpful personnell with a "family touch" made our stay a bit like at home. The location of Ascott Raffles City is unbeatable comfortable with direct access to Dongzhimen Subway station so that You can reach nearly any Beijing midtown destination and the airport in short time. The Raffles City Mall with many restaurants from noodle soup streetfood up to top-class restaurants plus supermarket and any kind of shopping facilities is in the same building. Our apartment was fully equipped with kitchen and washing machine, super clean and serviced on a daily basis. 1st choice for a longer stay in Beiljing!!

United StatesThe specific location of the front door of the apartment hotel needs to be specified MORE CLEARLY and a more NOTICEABLE sign of the hotel needs to be placed both on the high position of the building (so that people can see it from far away) and at the entrance of the street (so that the taxi driver or visiting friends could find it more easily). Currently, unless one has been there before, one cannot easily find how to get to the hotel. When I first arrived in Beijing from the airport, the taxi navigation took us to the address stated on the reservation notice, but it was the Mall entrance of the building, and we asked the staff who helped directing the traffic to the underground parking of the building complex, and he was not quite sure where the hotel entrance was, though he knew the hotel is part of the building complex (he was on the west side of the building, and the hotel entrance was on the south side of the building, just 50 meters apart). The navigation map had the choices of east, west, north, and south sides of Ascot Riffles building, and that was helpful for the taxi drivers. A 5-start hotel with Excellent conditions and staff SHOULD do better than the navigation map. That is the only complaint I have, and it would be so easy to change, hopefully. Thanks.

RussiaI arrived and departed with a small child on an overnight flight. To check in at 03:20 on 09/09/2023, I had to pay for an additional day from 09/08/2023. In order to check out on 09/15/2023 at 20:00, I was also offered to pay for another day until 09/16/2023. I believe that there should be an individual approach to clients with children and night flights, with the possibility of early check-in and late check-out for an additional fee. Poor Wi-Fi. The floors under the dining table have not been washed for 6 days. The dirty carpet in the bedroom gave off an unpleasant odor.

SwitzerlandNothing at all! This residence is flawless! Otherwise we wouldn't have booked this hotel twice during our 3-week vacation in China.
We know Raffles City in Dongzhimen but never had the chance to stay in the residence. We are just overwhelmingly impressed! The apartment is big, clean, well furnished, it has everything you will need, and the view through the window is priceless. Very strangely people don't mention the breakfast, it is another positive surprise! I would say, it beats 90% of the 4 and 5 start hotels in Beijing. The buffet is rich and very well organised. Unlike other hotels, once you have your breakfast buffet, you will know what you are going to have throughout your stay. But here, they change the tasty dishes everyday! Two big thumbs up for the wonderful breakfast buffet! We like everything here, and will definitely return to it next time we are in Beijing.

The location is impeccable, close to SanLiTun, with a variety of restaurants nearby and the Raffles shopping mall downstairs, and the apartment has a kitchen equipped with an induction cooker and oven for easy cooking. In addition, there is a laundry. Security is good.
