Breakfast level give a very good city view, but the setting is modest, with basic furnishings, mismatched chairs and table and simple decor . Servicestaff abit short handed.

even though location is near metro, but currently there is a big construction take place just outside the hotel hence need to go big loop to the other side to take the metro. Room interior quite outdated and old. I have stayed most Ascott properties and this is the most outdated one.

The switch on our bed was on the opposite end. Switch was for the other side of the bed instead of on your own side.

Our room lacked the dryer that was supposed to be on top of the washing machine. The hotel staff gave me a cloth hanger for drying which we preferred anyway. That’s about the main thing.

We loved the shops underneath the hotel!! Super convenient for grocery and for a meal, with lots to choose from. The staff are so helpful and well trained, their service is top notch, which was the most unforgettable part of our stay. Breakfast is different everyday with several staple items, plus a chef counter who cooks fresh noodles, dumplings and wontons etc upon request. The location is convenient too, being close to a metro station with 2 lines, despite the recent construction happening right outside.

The Chengdu metro is being upgraded along the main road so it was not so easy to get across the road to the metro station.

Room was huge and had a kitchen, fridge etc. It was situated in the shopping mall, with a large supermarket and food court in the lowest level. We got a nice takeaway from a burger outlet and took back to the room.

There two big drawbacks to this property. The first is the air-conditioning which when running gave off an awful high-pitched noise. It was cold enough that we opened the window and let the ac run in the bathroom (fortunately far away and separate). But if staying here in the summer, I would be concerned. Maybe it was just our room, but the noise was extremely unpleasant and sleep disturbing. The second problem is none of the hotel's fault, but it takes quite a while to reach the Metro station due to massive construction right in front of the property (Metro line 18). One has to maneuver over a very busy intersection and the parking for all the electro bikes used by the delivery workers. Overall, the hotel sits within a very nice mall + terrace + restaurants property, but if accessing the metro it's more complicated than it would seem from a map.

Very nice hotel with large comfortable rooms and good amenities. The breakfast was nice with flexible times (closed 10am on weekdays; 10:30am on weekends). Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the staff at the breakfast room.

The nearest metro station entrance was under construction. Had to walk a long way from the hotel to the metro station.

The breakfast was excellent with many tasty choices. Got a free room upgrade, because the first room was not quiet enough. The hotel was very clean. All the service staffs were friendly and professional.

10mins walk from the train station, need to walk 15mins or so to nearest local food street so not the most accessible location even though it was connected to Raffles City mall. On one of my last few night, there was a really bad ceiling leakage and had to transfer rooms twice which was really inconvenient.

Staff were incredibly helpful, even helped me with booking tickets to the panda research base when I couldn’t buy without a local mobile number. Had free room upgrade as well. Decent gym facilities

Got upgraded to 3 bedroom apartment. It was huge with panorama view. The room, location, facilities....Everything was great. On top of it, it is connected to a big shopping mall with shops, cafés, restaurants, supermarket, cinema, spa...And short walk to the subway.
