1) swimming pool since 2pm doesn’t have sun because of the buildings around. 2) also breakfast is not so good, variety is pour and every day it’s almost the same Chinese food. what I ate every day it’s noodles, sausages and toast. fruits are not so good, just orange or watermelon or melon.

first of all it’s super good location, you can go anywhere you want. I love the view from the room, and every day they organize cleaning service, in the room it’s so clean. the bed sheets are white and clean. shower is good.

Loud, both from outside and inside the hotel. We were woken one night at 2am because of a screaming fight in the hall. It took more than 20 minutes for staff to come, and the person who came was timid and didn’t wasn’t efficient at quieting the fight — more timid than authoritative. The breakfast buffet wasn’t expensive (30RMB), but the hot food was cold there was almost no fresh fruit, only a iceberg lettuce salad for fresh food.

It was clean and the cleaning staff was very friendly. Also a great location for the price.

The pool was only open from 10-6pm a very short time.

It was close to the beach and easy to find. It was also in a nice area.

The pool was closed. Holiday week and it's closed? That was terrible. No excuse. I don't want to hear it was because of the pandemic. Old excuse and not applicable.

The location was really good. Not far from the beach and restaurants. Shopping was also nearby.

Staff not overly friendly but ok, they shut the pool for 3 days and couldn't provide any explanation. Just said its needs testing. Not a big fan of heights and room and balcony was on the 33rd floor asked for a change of room to a lower level and was given one on the 23rd floor, the room was much smaller. Still too high.

The location was amazing, however the staff were a bit blunt apart from the cleaning lady who was lovely.

The decoration from the room are very old, need to refresh it. The effort from the clean woman not the best. From 3 elevator are 1 broken, means sometimes need to wait 15-20min.

Smoking in hallway permitted?! Unbelievable. No door/wall/screen on bathroom?! No visible wifi password, had to check under router. Fridge doesn't work if you're out on beach. Slippers are plastic.

Overall, a nice place. A bit old, but clean rooms. Location is good. Lot of western restaurants nearby. New towels, shampoo every day. Nice seaview if you are above 30th floor. No bad smell, except one time there was from toilet. Shower needs maintenance. Pool is nice, could be bigger.

The rooms aren't very sound proof from the outside. You can hear everyone walking in the halls, screaming, running, slamming doors and it was a struggles to sleep late or get woken up every day. There was also the noise from outside. Building and daily life. That was not so bad.

It was clean and presentable. We were helped by a lovely member of staff who made it very good for us. The location is perfect and the pool is good.

There was always a bad odour coming from the toilet even when the room is just clean, the front desk female staff showed lack of patience when comunicating with us because they have to use a translator and honestly it left a poor taste in our mouth the male front desk staff were excellent they happen to come around and took over from the female and we really appreciated that because we became agitated because of the their behavior. I believe from a tourist resort in a tourist area from desk staff should be bilingual because many international guest will travel

I like the ambiance and the view from the room that I was staying, very friendly and polite house keeper who tries her best to understand us because of the language barrier (she doesn't speak English), the pool was always clean. I also like the location it's in very close proximity to the beach and the Western restaurants.

Barry’s is excellent value. The hotel is in an excellent location, just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, bars and plenty of shopping. While the breakfast and facilities are relatively modest, the room was clean and I had a beautiful view of the sea. What really made my stay here was the friendly and helpful staff. Every person we spoke to or asked for help was warm, generous and enthusiastic, and I would stay there again for this simple (but rare) feature.
