How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The first room we got smellið of smoke but the staff switched the room and there was no smrll but the view was not as good. It did not matter because the staff was great.
The staff was great and spoke English. Everyone in China is really helpful.

TV channels need to have more non Chinese channels
I stay 2 times in China trip this this hotel I forget one of my clothes and next time.i back I find them keep it for me Location is very closed to main train station Stuff friendly

Hotel furniture is a bit dated.

Wish all the stuff spoke at least a bit of English since a lot of foreign tourists stay there. Some speak perfectly though, some don't speak at all. Also, was surprised there was no wine at all in a hotel bar since it's a high-class international hotel chaine

Staff is not so friendly when asking about transport arrangement or advice of tours. But there is one lady very helpful helping us to print an urgent documents.
Very clean, good location and comfy bed. Room allocated is very far from the lift. The last one when yo turn left from the lift, and the also the last one when turn right from the lift.

Could hear quite a lot of noise from the corridor and adjoining rooms, and the WiFi was not great.
Very comfortable room in an excellent location. Reasonably priced. Beds were comfy and big (stayed in a twin room). Shower was strong and good temperature control.

Everything was excellent staff was very helpful and very friendly and efficient. Come out exit B from subway line 2 . Hotel is just around the corner may be 100 meter away.
It is near line 2 which is very convenient to go around city attractions. Breakfast very good variety and good selection of food. From airport easy excess to airpirt via subway.

We have nothing that we didn't like.
The hotel rooms are great, very clean with good facilities. Housekeeping service was very good too, attentive towards your needs without asking i.e. making sure that you have enough to use. Hotel reception service was great too - helping us order food via their personal mobile app as we do not have any local number. Overall, the stay was great!👍🏻👍🏻 Will stay here again😃

Everything liked, stopped very briefly
Big room, huge bed. Convenient bathroom. View of the Beijing Railway Station building. There are vending machines with toys in the hotel, but I think it's impossible to win there =D

Bed is too soft, it's sinking in the middle.
Very helpful staff both can't speak English and can speak English. Location is great not far from the metro station and grocery store. It is opposite to Beijing railway station, although we just knew that we had to go to south railway station to take a high speed train.

Unfortunately the front desk were a disappointment. The concierge on duty was not helpful even when we asked for directions. It was a straight answer - no map. He didn't ask where we were going nor offer any directions. The hotel should offer a map if language was a barrier for the staff to assist. We had a difficult time getting around as we had no access on our mobile provider in China. Lucky for us, we had friends who helped us throughout our stay at the hotel. We were able to take the public bus to the Forbidden city from the hotel and walked around the malls with their help.
The location of the hotel was good. It was close to the main tourist attractions Luke the Forbidden city and Tianameng Square. The restaurant and breakfast cafe serving the food were good. We enjoyed our meals with the variety of selection of western and local cuisine.
