Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

SpainCleanliness should be improved as we found few hairs on our sheets and stains on the sofa in the room. Ideally staff would speak a little bit better English but this is quite common in China.
The hotel is centrally located (with easy access to metro, large pedestrian shopping street and many nice restaurants and bakeries around). The staff was the most helpful one we found in China, even though they did not speak much English. They were always willing to help (checking places, ordering taxis) even with the help of translator apps. The hotel is overall modern and the room was very comfortable and spacious. We also liked breakfast that is quite cheap (55RMB per person) and with good variety of both western and Chinese options. What was also surprising to us - you can find air purifier inside the room which we believe is due to poor air quality in Beijing (nice touch!).

Location, location, location. Very close to forbidden city, close to the metro, good streets food around. The ladies at the front desk were super friendly and helpful to get around.

SingaporeThe pillow in the room could have been better as no matter how many I stack up, they will just collapse thus not giving a good neck support and end up not having a good night rest, which is much needed after a long walk during the day.
Location : Available food stores opposite the hotel makes it easier for me to have more options if I decide to dine in. Room : Room is big however, the pillows were bad whereby it sinks in, thus did not have a great sleep. Breakfast: Mediocre. Nothing to wow about

I think they were still on winter settings where the aircon doesn’t work, however we got some pretty warm days in Beijing with 27degrees Celsius and the aircon didn’t get cold, it was uncomfortable to sleep. Also, the staff doesn’t speak very good English, however they are very attentive and use translator.
Convenient location close to touristic attractions. The room is very comfortable, nice bed and shower. Quite spacious as well.

ItalyWe had a family room sold for 4 people but the room only had a king size bed and a single bed! My 8 yo son hat to sleep with me and my wife. Breakfast was ok but you can get something better outside for the same money
Position is perfect to visit the city. 5 minutes walking from metro station (line 8) and 25 minutes walking distance from entrance of the Forbidden city

The location was great, right in the centre of the old part of Beijing. Walkable distance from Tiananmen Square. The room was basic but spacious and we had all the amenities we needed for our stay. The room was tidied every day of our stay as well. Non-smoking hotel which was also nice.
