Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

The 6th floor terrace was occupied by an Italian restaurant that closes at 10:30pm on week days and midnight on weekends, what a waste of the night time view and their whisky bar. Far better to have a speak easy? Live music? Every time I went back to the hotel before midnight, it looked empty and felt lifeless. The basement arcade was largely deserted, Varsace Home left behind their sign. Didn't get the party-people-dancing-down-grand-staircase vibe as shown on their in-room hotel presentation channel.
Lovely stay overall. My Deluxe King room was great and looked just like the photos; spacious, clean and comfy. The staff were very welcoming and helpful with my requests. Breakfast was delicious, I had both the buffet and menu options, Eastern and Western, English and Continental. The meals I ordered for room service were just as tasty. The swimming pool was wonderful along with the sauna/steam room in the men's changing room. Gym did the job for me with some free weights and cable. Location was perfect for a leisurely walk to The Bund plus there was one metro station not too far from the hotel.

Switzerland- either I did not find the business center or there is none - in the evening I wanted to work somewhere in silence and have a drink, unfortunately the hotel does not have a 24/7 hotel bar
- excellent hotel with absolutely fantastic staff and great service - there will be multiple room service per day - the location of the hotel is amazing - the restaurant of the hotel offers an amazing view on Shanghai's skyline - the whirlpool of the hotel offers an amazing view on Shanghai's skyline - the spa is huge and absolutely wonderful - the breakfast is super tasty and totally worth the money - the rooms and the infrastructure is totally modern and new - I will definitely come again! Thank you for the amazing stay!

China-1 contributed by the unpleasant experience during breakfast, the manager was arrogant and unprofessional when informing us about dress code in the dining area. It is not clearly mentioned in any instructions that slippers are not allowed, if the property really think it matters, please bake it in the check-in signature paper.
