How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Wifi service was not good. It needs to be improve. Also English speaking on Front desk need to improve.
Location is Excellent. Direct aproach by Metro from Airport. 2 Minute walk from Tiyu Xily Metro Station. Room was with enough space. and Breakfast was good but need to add more items in breakfast.

We thought our room had a window from the pictures when we booked but it turned out to be a wall with curtains covering it to look like a window! The amenities in the room were old - speakers would occasionally screech, cupboard and drawers were creaking so loud that we didnt dare open it as it would disturb others, shower area had no door so the entire toilet would always be wet
Hotel staff and cleaners were extremely helpful and friendly to all our issues and questions. The breakfast buffet had a good variety and theres always some tea time snacks at the lobby. The shuttle bus to canton fair was such a plus! We also really appreciate the free laundry and ample bottled water available.

Rooms are mediumsmall but has nothing to sit except bed. Or you need to sit on make up small square stool! In fact there is enough space to locate small armchair.
Central location at Tianhe. Next to Metro. Several shipping and dşning around. Breakfast is really good

A somewhat worn-out room with stains on the carpet. The hotel is undergoing renovation, so there are daytime construction works and many renovation materials in the corridors.
Convenient location - the hotel is close to the subway in a lively neighbourhood, easily accessible from the airport without transfers by subway, and convenient to reach the sightseeings. Free laundry facilities, magnificent breakfasts. Spacious room, equipped with all necessities, and easily customizable air conditioning system.

Dusty carpet but other areas in room are clean and have everything I need to use.
Great location only 2 mins walk to metro line 3, surrounding by restaurants and shops. Room is clean, except carpet is a bit dusty but they provided slippers so problem solved. All staff are nice and helpful. Breakfast is great and variety.

Wifi wasn't fantastic - But thats a minor detail
The room was spacious, the breakfast included was DELICIOUS! and the Location was so great we ended going back ands staying there a second time! Everything you need is within a walking distance. BONUS POINTS for the bar next door "Richkats" serving awesome craft beers

I booked two rooms and 1 of them had strong remnants smoke smell. Some renovations work are ongoing so there was some noise.

The room was quite comfortable but unfortunately there was no good view outside the window so we just kept it close.
The staff especially the night front desk were really helpful despite the language barrier. One of them (male staff) goes out of his way to help assist on our predicament during our early morning check in. Unfortunately did not manage to get his name. It gave us a good impression of the hotel. Thank you.
