Really nothing to say…

This place is absolutely amazing! The location is a beautiful getaway in a small village near the Great Wall and as a Westerner from Europa, I could not have wished for a more perfect stay to visit the Great Wall and enjoy some quiet time as a couple after a couple of weeks in Beijing/Shanghai. Upon arrival, we were asked what we liked for food and gave our preferences, which in response, we got the best high-quality food that we have had in China. As we were alone on the premises (we went off-season in September) we literally had a private chef cooking with only fresh ingredients from their garden and the best fish from around there. I mean…🤩 Later we got asked to make a hike to the Wild Great Wall where we had some insane views when on top. Not only did the staff pick and drop us off with a golf cart but we got the yummiest/best lunch pack to picnic on top of the wall. When we arrived back from our hike one of the staff members was ready to pick us up with the golf cart and some nice relaxing tea 🫖. We initially thought that the price was only for breakfast but when arriving we heard that the lunch + dinner + soft drinks/water was all included in the price. So in the end we thought it was a true gem for that price with that amount of quality and made us book a day longer. Overall this was one of the best and nicest experiences I ever had in my life in any hotel. Would for sure recommend going here.

The pool is a bit small.

We love the way the old building has been converted, retaining its historical charm while providing a comfortable and clean accommodation. Marina is an excellent hotel manager. We appreciated her taking time showing us around including the gardens and historical features. A Jie is really friendly and helpful too! We are lucky to have the living room to ourselves for the night we stayed. It was really homely with great AV equipment. The organic vegetables provided are all from the garden. Food is delicious and healthy.

Contacts with the house keeper before our stay made our arrival very easy. The house was very comfortable, a nice blend of authentic traditional architecture and modern equipment. Lots of nice details. Location is perfect for a weekend getaway, very quiet village and nice hikes around. Our hostess was discreet, very welcoming and gave us lots of useful info. We had a wonderful time and hope we can stay again.

Everything, from the sympathy of the staff, exceptionally friendly, to the location and the food! Oh yes the food.... the Chef is a hidden jewel! Best fish I have ever had in China!!!!!! This location is very very close to be perfect in all senses.....

The style of the Stoneyards was beautiful and comfortable. There pool area and library were lovely places to sit and visit with our friends.

We had a very pleasant time at CMYK. The place was very quiet and peaceful, just like what we wanted. The B&B is very well-maintained. The quality of their amenities is top-notch. They provide hiking routes, and there are signs everywhere along the hiking path so you can hike on your own. The staffs are very helpful and friendly. It was a perfect short getaway from Beijing. We will definitely come back!

Breakfast included a similar/same dish as dinner the night before (shredded potatoes - tasty but more variety would be great for the price).

The location, building and interior design of CMYK are wonderful! Appreciated the high-quality amenities such as the natural shampoo/soap/body wash, Dyson hairdryer and in-room coffee machine. The room I stayed in was an impressive size, and the skylight in the bathroom was awesome! My room also shared a patio with another room, which was a delightful spot for early morning yoga. Enjoyed swimming in the pool and lounging on the deckchairs too. Definitely a good idea to stay during summer! CMYK is close to the wild Great Wall - which we, unfortunately, didn't get around to climbing, although we did hike another path nearby. The home-style dinner and breakfast (Chinese) were delicious. Thanks to the super kind housekeeper and chef! Would love to stay again.

All the staff is great, they always worked hard to give something extra, the "home-made" food is great and the facilities are nice; but all the staff will really make a difference for an excellent stay!

We absolutely enjoyed everything. I wanted a secluded location so the vegetable fields and the few homes that shared the rural road were perfect.

I have been looking for a boutique hotel, in the mountains, less than two hours from home, with an outdoor pool, and nice spots to go for hikes. I found what I've been looking for! Marina is incredibly thoughtful. We were heading out for a hike, so she packed a backpack with water bottles, a trekking pole, a sunhat, and a little emergency kit. There are six well-appointed rooms at the hotel. The common living room is super cozy with books and it even has a projector for viewing a movie. We thoroughly enjoyed breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the property - everything was very tasty! I chose this property because of the outdoor pool. It is hot this summer and I wanted someplace where we could sit in the heat of the day while still enjoying the mountain views. CMYK was exactly what I was hoping to find. A spot to go just outside of Beijing where you can rest, be still, enjoy nature, or simply sit to read a book or play games. I see us becoming regular visitors to this serene property.

Everything was great.

The facilities are a beautiful and well-considered modern update to the original structures that retain their unique, traditional charm without sacrificing comfort in any way. It was a pleasure to experience.
