From the street to access hotel, you need to pass in front of garbage bins from another hotel, usually very smelly. Hope can improve this.

Very good location, a lot of options local or western food, bars, shopping. Very close to South Shaanxi Rd. Exit 3 and Huahai Rd (M) Exit 2, Good breakfast (hot and cold options), even there is a free of charge Congee at night. Internet as usual in China, is blocked for Google, Facebook and others applications. TV only shows China channels. There is a AI device (like SIRI or Alexa), but only in chinese, couldn't find how to set it in english

Staff doesn’t speak english. The hotel is very noisy, you can hear sounds from the other guests at night.

The location of the property is great! Nearby all the most important sights. The room is comfortable and has everything you’ll need. It’s affordable and worth the price.

The soundproofing needs improvement, as I can hear people in the neighbouring rooms and hallway.

The location was excellent, right along the major avenue of the French Concession (Huai Hai Road).

The breakfast room smelled really musty, the sofas definitely need a proper clean.

Very central location on Middle Huaihai Road; close proximity to a lot of shops, restaurants and the French concession. 3 mins walking distance to the metro station from which you can reach all important sights and the airports easily. The room is very stylish and was exceptionally clean; staff were helpful in finding my way around (even though the level of English was not great with everyone). Breakfast was fairly small, but a nice selection of western and asian options. Overall, it was great value for money!

It would be good to offer hand soap rather than bar soap.

The location was ideal right in the central of the city and within walking distance to 4 subway lines. The breakfast was a good spread and facilities comfortable. Had a most pleasant stay and will not hesitate to re-book again.

The bathroom could’ve been cleaner. The floor also didn’t look that clean, but they provided slippers so it was alright.

The location and staff were amazing. On top of that the bed was very comfortable and the room pretty spacious.

Surprisingly, the hotel (or at least my room) had no heater and the room was constantly a little bit too cold for comfort (from 17-18C). The walls are also not soundproof. While this was not disturbing, one can hear the neighbors in the next door (luckily, mine were not noisy).

The hotel is located in a very nice and central location of Shanghai. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is crystal clean and the room I had was big, well decorated, with a comfortable bed. Very near to a metro station and in a fun, nice part of Shanghai. Great for business in Pudong or for visiting the historical part of the city.

The place was great, we loved staying in the French concession and near the subway. Being situated in a courtyard, the hotel was quiet, even though the location was right on the main street. We had a great time and can recommend the hotel.

The location is fantastic as right near metro. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff at desk were very helpful even with language differences. I left my phone in Didi and they spoke to driver on phone for us to get it dropped at hotel. Excellent for families as they have table tennis and foosball. Would have happily stayed longer.
