Just as in all other properties in Dali, hot water depends on solar energy. But there is still some hot water in cloudy days.

We stayed at the room with a spa bath and it was such a pleasure. There are not many properties like this in Dali, and this one is located just in the ancient town, which is perfect and cozy. The interior of the hotel matches the turn style, the area is super quiet and peaceful. Also the mountain is visible from the window (and from the bathtub) Highly recommended!

What a lovely stay i had in Dali Buxianshan. The place is beautiful, have a liitle park when you can relax, very chilling. The rooms are so big and confortable. Also so so beautiful. Have a little living room, where you can see trough the window, i really like it. The best of all was the staff, Rourou helped me with everything i needed and really care about me having a good time there. She also helped me book my trip to lijiang, i am so grateful, thanks so much! I have a wonderful stay❤️

The guesthouse was very beautiful, the rooms are clean and the young lady hosting us was very friendly. The free laundry service was great, and the house dog super cute! Location is in the heart of a bustling old town. Couldn’t be happier with our decision to stay here.

The location is right in the middle of the ancient town, easy to navigate to. The rooms are clean and spacious. The architecture and courtyard of the guesthouse is very beautiful. The large resident husky is also a big plus

The water pressure was quite low. General maintenance could be better.

The owner was really helpful before and during our stay, very responsive and informative. The property is well equipped, rooms have heaters in the bedroom and bathroom. It also provides washing machine and detergent powder for free. Each room is different and has a different style. Very quiet.

The host is helpful. Hostel to old town street just 10 minutes walk and around is restaurant. Nearby got morning market just 8 minutes walk. Convenient place. Room it's clean & peace, can sleep well without annoying sound. Recommended

Everything was perfect! The room had a lovely view of the mountains. The bed was super comfortable. The room was clean, and with lots of space. We got lots of help to rent a bike and to visit nearby places. The room had cable with some movies in English. Location is convenient. There are many restaurants and stores around.

The location is a little bit of a walk from the very centre of the old town, but still close to restaurants and shops. The bath was a little overlooked by neighbours, so you need to close the curtain, but not really a problem!

The host was super friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. Amazing views of Cangshan mountain from the window, and the spa bath was an incredible luxury! It was quiet and peaceful. We loved our stay and would definitely come again.

Everything was great.

This is a great place to stay! The owner was the perfect host, helping us with whatever we asked and offering to go beyond. The location was perfect, in the old city, close enough to everything but away from the noise. Our room was clean, very spacious, with lots of natural light and good air circulation. Bed was comfortable. Thank you for everything and we hope to be back!

ds with us. Our room was very dirty and dusty. The floor was sticky. The rug was very dirty, the table cover in the living room area was absolutely dirty and dusty, all the shelfs in the room and the nightstands next to our bed was dirty and dusty, I had to clean everything myself as my little one was touching everything. The most annoying part was the shower. The shower was simple and old, which I don’t mind much, but the water was either ice cold or burning hot. We could not get the right temperature. This is absolutely dangerous if you want to shower your child. We ended up mixing the water in the kettle and pour it over our toddler. But that was not ideal either as the room temperature was icy cold, luckily my baby did not catch a cold after the shower. My husband and I ended up showering with the ice cold water. Our beddings had a weird old smell, the ceiling in the corner of our bedroom had mold, a huge mold stain. I would definitely not recommend this property, I the property is just not worth the money, doesn’t matter how much it costs. You can find much nicer and cleaner and newer properties in the same street, in fact just next to this one. The unfortunate part is that the other properties may not be listed on booking.com, as I could not find them. But there are so many of these type of stays, so definitely worth to look for other properties.

The bathroom is only separated by a very thin curtain, which makes for a slight lack of privacy.

The guesthouse is a short distance away from some of the interesting streets in Dali old town. It is a small guesthouse and the host was welcoming and helpful.
