The bathroom. Well, the set-up + fitting is model and functional but wall+door in between the room and bathroom are transparent glasses. Not only this property, but a few properties in Yunan have bathrooms with such interior design that my sister and myself :( . It is not the interior design, other than that it is 5 5-star bathroom.

The Location is great because it is within the heart of the old town but bear in mind that car drop off is not possible, you need to walk quite a distance with your luggage should you have a big case like us. However, the property keeper assisted us in transporting our luggage upon our arrival around 10 pm. I wish to stay more days like 5 nights instead of 2 nights.

The wall is a little thin, but it’s not a problem for us

Breakfast was amazing, with the best rice noodles I’ve ever had. The service was also great, with spot on restaurant recommendations and assistance with luggage. The house was a dream, tranquil in the centre of the old town. There was the character of the old building but also comfort from modern furnitures.

It is a small and very beautiful courtyard, perfect for us as we wanted to experience the old chinese style of living. It is also very comfortable, with a big shower and bath. The location is absolutely great because it is right in the middle of the ancient town, but on a quiet alley. The two ladies managing the place were very kind and helped us organize the transportation from and to train station/airport (as cars are not allowed till the accommodation) The breakfast is noodles soup or eggs, yogurt , coffee, fruit so it was enough for us.

very charming restored boutique hotel located right in the heart of the ancient town but away from all the bustle. the hearty home cooked breakfast is a great start to the day too. did not hurt that we got upgraded to a suite which was very lovely too.

Breakfast option is not really an option but didn't worry about it much. Still nice overall.

The room equipped with modern facility under the ancient property so it make your stay comfortable but still in style. Staff were lovely and willing to help. Location is great. They send staff over to help you with the luggages.

1. Location It was inside old town, which got quite noisy in the evenings, but the moment you stepped in, it was like a different world - silent and calm. 2. Beautiful accommodation The inn is beautifully preserved with modern sensibilities. It was winter when we stayed and the room had floor heating, electric blankets and a portable heater. Even the curtains were remote controlled. We weren't too used to the pillows provided though! They were a little soft. 3. Hosts We are hosted by 2 ladies who shared with us details (very succinct details) on restaurants and attractions and were contactable on wechat any time. We appreciated having them advise us on all things Dali. 4. Community We became friends with the other guests that we were staying with and talking over breakfast and being at the courtyard after was such a joy. The space was really perfect for us to get away from our stressful lives and we are thankful we stayed here. 谢谢你们的关照！我们住的很舒服，民宿也充满着诗意. 有缘再见！😍

The location is great at the middle of the old town but it's in an alley so it's quiet but just a walk only 5 minutes to the middle of the old town. You don't have to drag your luggage to the hotel on the stone road, the staff will pick you up at the appointment spot outside the ancient wall with an electric bike for carrying the languages.

It’s a bit of a walk from the car parking but it’s also part of the charm.

Authentic place with an extremely friendly staff that attended to our every need and went the extra mile. The facilities are brand new in ancient building, the perfect mix. Wish I will have more chances to come back here.

Sound proof is so so. Right next to a school so there’ll be hustle and bustle. But overall still a great hotel
