Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomThe odd few smokers that do not adhere to the no smoking policy. They lurk in the stair well. A group of 4 men were smoking in the bar even though the staff had told them not to smoke.
A magnificent setting for this fairytale hotel. A photographer's paradise . The staff were brilliant. The meals were wonderful.

CanadaUp on a hill isn’t the most convenient location. The buggy to shuttle people up and down isn’t as effective as it could be as it’s always waiting at the top and is very difficult for people at the bottom to get picked up. A call bell would be a great addition for foreign guests who do not have a local telephone number to call the hotel.
Beautiful property, room was very comfortable.

Chinafew things that I had expected and they are only small things... A little personal touch was missing maybe fruit in the room... There was a little dust here and there around the bathroom and room. The bath leaked when draining. The windows around the whole property could have done with a clean. Just small things you would expect to be better for such an amazing place. Also from the road the hotel looked dark compared to other buildings around it.
The breakfast was amazing, a very good choice!! and good quality fresh food. The beds were extremely cosy. The views were incredible from the room and hotel was lovely. The gym was very good and a lovely sea view. The pool was nice but not amazing!

ChinaYou would have to be especially critical to fault this hotel. A minor issue with the plug seal in one of the bathroom sinks was dealt with within minutes of advising the problem.
A beautiful secluded yet easy to reach location high on a hill overlooking Dalian Bay and Xinghai park to the South featuring picturesque mountains to the North. There is also a wonderful high level garden in easy reach of all floors. Breakfast is plentiful, just two small points, both cheese and bacon are hard to get in China. Streaky bacon isn't up to Breakfast quality as its too fatty and all hotels and shopping malls have very limited cheese varieties.

SingaporeWater for showering is not hot at all…especially when Da lian is cold. I think the staff can also be friendlier and more helpful. We changed a room as our initial room the facilities were not working well and normally. We saw dead cockroach in our hotel room too, overall we feel that the hotel is old and not well maintained.

United KingdomSo the main issue we had was the temperature of the room, it was 26 degrees and went upto 28 degrees and one point. I'm not being funny but this is just too hot and even though each room has it's own thermostat we was told that the temperature was the same for each hotel room and this could not be changed (because chinese people like it hot basically). So there was no way to regulate the temperature to a temperature that I was comfortable with both while relaxing and sleeping. The staff did open the window and put a fan in the room but this isn't the point. At a luxury hotel like this is you should be able to control the temperature for your individual room
The staff were very helpful, the buffet lunch was was very good and so was the Zhen Bao restaurant, the room was very nice and clean and the pool and steam room etc was very nice.
