We arrived at 9 am and were immediately checked in. After we used the facilities in the room and left for the day when we got back in the afternoon, our room was made up with fresh towels and new bottles of water. They also helped us book our tickets for the Terracotta army and suggested sights in the area. The hotel is near the Muslims quarter, and there are good restaurants, street foods, and shopping options within. The nearest metro station is about 10-15 minute walk.

If I’m being picky, it’s a bit of a walk from the nearest metro exit (~15 minutes I think) but that’s not really a big deal for us. I can imagine that some people wouldn’t like staying here due to the intense environment that surrounds the accommodation - there’s a lot of vendors selling foods and other goods, a fair amount of foot and bike traffic on the street and little space on the sidewalks. I think it could be signed a little better, some sort of small stand-alone sign just beyond the door to catch your eye as the front fades into the background due to all the other stuff to look at.

The rooms are very nice and feel spacious. The lady on the reception was lovely and kind despite the language barrier, very eager to be of help and assist us to have a good time while in Xi’an. I often find it’s the people that make the difference and this lady was lovely, she created a good foundation for us to explore from :) She helped us to book tickets for walking on the city wall, the lantern festival and provided lots of ideas of things to do/ stuff to eat while staying there. Some people may not like the location but it put us right in the heart of a bustling, active and busy community which was awesome to witness. There is a washing machine and space to dry clothes on the top floor, super helpful! This property feels cheap for what it is, very content with it! Lots of local food just outside the door - a lady just round the corner sells lovely dumplings in the morning and there is a great park a short walk away!

The personal touch and help received by Miss Liz Pu. She was the best! She helped a lot ☺️ and without her help in getting me tickets during the most busy time of the Chinese New Year I couldn't go anywhere. Picking me up from the metro station when I arrived and helping me to get around was super! The hotel is close to attractions and in the neighborhood there are plenty of restaurants and street food. The rooms are very clean and big.

I liked everything about my stay here.

The location was great. I could walk to many of the sites, The hotel was in the middle of the Muslim Quarter and there were many places to eat and little shops near by. The best part was Liz and her staff. Liz was so kind and helpful. She always took time to answer my questions and twice she walked me to places that I was unable to find. She arranged a tour and a taxi to pick me up when leaving. Liz is a very kind and helpful person. She made the stay a very positive experience for me. She also spoke English which was so helpful to me. The staff were always helpful and nice. A great welcoming place to stay. I even received a room upgrade on arrival.

The people in the front desk were super helpful and speak fluent english. They showed us recomended restaurants, written guides to attractions, gave us plenty of water bottles and helped us with buying flight tickets and navigating in the city. Also we were allowed to check out at 1700 since the room was not booked. The staff was really exceptional, and the room and location were great! All in all we couldnt ask for a better experience here.
