My suggestion is to add more option in vegetarian food.

Overall very good stay. Pick up and drop facilities to attend Canton fair. Special snacks and drinks after arrival from Canton fair. Very supportive staff with multiple choices for breakfast.

It is mostly Chinese food and very limited variety for western food, I was going there since 2016 every year and the breakfast is not what use to be , need to think of more options , very limited choices of fruits , cheese and vegetables

Mr Rainy quo on reception, met very warmly, also took luggage from cab to room. He guided us for taxi as I had to attend Canton fair. He wrote in Chinese language on hotel card and helped. Also he arranged microwave to cook veg food packets which I possessed. Also other staff were cooperative. on 8th floor foot massage was very relaxing. On the whole a comfortable business stay.

This hotel is in a great location if you are visiting the Canton Fair, they also had a shuttle bus to and from the fair. The English is good and they were very helpful in arranging taxis and translating English words into Chinese so the taxis know where to take you etc.

breakfast was bad, nothing for foreigner only for Chinese is ok. WIFI trouble the worst you can Emagin. lobby so small no place to meet people. window not close firmly , you still can hear the cars in the street.

Location is not very convenience. some feature of the look old and full of cigarette smell. (we requested for non-smoking room) and no choice we requested a air purifier, but it doesn't help much. Overall speaking, hotel profile picture is nice, but facilities look old and personally don't think it worth the price we pay.

There was nothing i did not like, which is unusual for me, i am well traveled so have many hotels to compare Victoria to.

Say Hello to Concierge Mr. Rainy Qiu when you arrive, He is a very professional, kind, friendly Man and knows all the answers you will need to have an amazing stay. Mr. Rainy will go the extra mile to accommodate and will answer all your questions or issues you have in Guangzhou while also providing excellent solutions you may have not thought of. For example, during these Covid days he arranged for my travel to the only place in China I know of getting a National Vaccination Certificate issued by The Government, which, take my word for it , is not an easy thing to do. By the way, It's in Dongguan. Rainy has helped me in every way I needed help and please say hello to him when you check in. Mention him by name and your stay will be fantastic. Ten star review, 5 stars not high enough for him. All the staff and receptionists were all friendly, helpful and made me smile whenever i needed assistance, you will not regret staying at this perfectly located Hotel, it has everything you need. Did I mention Mr. Rainy gave me a free room upgrade? I had the biggest TV i have ever seen in a room ;] ;] . I love Victoria Hotel and Mr. Riany and I will never stay anywhere else in Guangzhou.

Breakfast for Western travelers is not great - not much choice. I would say it is catered more toward Chinese travellers, business people. no facility to exchange currency at reception desk and no ATM On occasion card machine would not work Cleaner enters room even if Do not disturb sign is on and hanger is on the door.

Location works if travelling to the fair - the shuttle bus is useful for morning drops off. Wasn't clear on collection points so never used for this. The Rooms, were clean, spacious, bed and pillow very comfortable. Starbucks attached - staff here were very friendly and drinks were made with care. Hot Pot Restaurant next door is good.
