The staff at the front desk does not speak English, using the washer and the dryer in the laundry room requires the use of an app that is available only in Chinese.

The hotel is located in a quite neighborhood, the breakfast was great, the hotel and the room were very clean, and the location is decent (it's somewhat close to the biggest attractions).

Breakfast is only Chinese choice: no plain omlette or outmeal porridge. This is an international hotel chain, but staff doesn't speak English at all.

Overall, it was a comfortable stay, I liked the room, bed, pillow choice, blackout curtains, and welcome fruits. Staff is polite and welcome. I expected Holiday Inn Express to be more poor than it was. Good value for money.

No complaints with the hotel, I enjoyed my stay. Useful info for some guests - no personal safe in the room. A late change of my travel dates was made complicated by booking.com customer service, but the hotel responded well when contacted directly to resolve it.

Nice, modern hotel and quiet area. Good location as a base for seeing the city. Major sights easily reached by rental bike, or a 10 min walk from Dongsi underground station, with the airport fast train 2 stops away. Out of the hotel you are immediately in the peaceful hutongs, with interesting bars and shops to be found if you're prepared to explore a bit. My room (6th floor) was clean and well appointed, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast buffet offers a good mix of Chinese and western options.

Great Location. The room was clean. There are laundry facilities in the hotel, which is great for those traveling for a long time! and finally, they have a great breakfast too.

The breakfast was okay, but better to pay attention on freshness of the products. I tried croissant 2 times on different days, and both of the times it was stone hard. I can imagine that not everybody consumes it as it is more Western breakfast option. But the hotel still has lots of Western guests visiting Beijing. So, I think it is better to put less croissants each morning and refresh the plate every morning.

The staff, although they do not speak English, were helpful and very polite. They use translation app to help and give information when it is needed. The room was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. We like that there are different options for pillow to have desired comfort.

There should be some hooks added, where to keep the towels in the bathroom.

The property is rather new; well located among some traditional old houses. Very quiet and relaxing in the evenings. The employees are very helpful. Both check in and check out were fast and efficient. The room was very clean and comfortable. And very warm.

The fact that there was no restaurant at the property at night and no proximity to good eating places.

To mention something, room has no safety box, but no big deal.

One of the best accommodations I have stayed in China, hotel rooms look very new, breakfast had a lot of variety, Chinese style and also Western options, the staff was friendly and polite. The nearest subway station is Dongsi, approximately 10min walk. Definitely a recommended option to stay in Beijing!

Windows could only be opened a few inches, AC was not turned on for the entire hotel yet (april), therefore the AC in our room did not do anything either but after asking for a solution we were brought a very good ventilator, which was perfectly fine.

I had to pay for the accommodation twice, once when checking in and once when checking out. Of course, they couldn't explain why, because they don't know more than 2 words in English, but unfortunately I didn't have time to have problems, because then I would have missed my train. By the way, apart from the fact that the hotel is in a hidden little street, everything was fine, but double the price was really not worth it, not to mention that I also paid the 3% transaction fee twice.

Renovated recently, this hotel is modern and clean. The room is simple but provided everything we needed. We especially loved the robot which brought us water to the room. We also liked the laundry facilities to wash and dry our clothes. The breakfast was great and provided a good variety of foods. Staff at the hotel were very pleasant and spoke some English. The hotel was a little hidden but was quiet and only a short walk to shops and the metro train station.
