There was a strong mouldy smell whenever entering the room, wallpaper or paint need restoration, esp washroom. Window is too dirty that we couldn’t see outside clearly, but overall it’s ok.

Near metro No. 1 (Exit A3 just across the road) and railway station. West lake is around 20 mins walking distance. Staffs are very helpful, very good breakfast and we could washed+dry our wet clothes after 3 rainy days. Comfy bed & good green-tea bags.

Everything is good.

The location is very good. It is next to Hangzhou train station which make travel with MRT very easy. Very valuable too. Nice staff who are willing to help. Breakfast has several choices, basic but taste good.

The location is located within short distance to the metro station and near to the high speed rail station. Checking in and out is a breeze and the room is generally clean. The toilet although small is provided with full amenities. Breakfast are essential and provided with chinese and western cusine.

The hotel is far from Westlake or the bustling shopping and eatery place near Westlake which is about 20-30mins walk. The hotel needs some touch up on the walls in the room and some chipped furniture corner.

I like the hotel included breakfast in the price we paid. The other good thing is it's right next to the metro line and Hangzhou railway station which is convenient for us to get a train to our next city destination. However, as this is the oldest train station and thus there aren't many trains to choose from but we're still happy with it being so close to our hotel, not having to carry our luggage needing to travel through metro which could be a bit of a hassle. We know it doesn't cost much to take taxi to the other two railway stations which are a lot bigger and modern and with more train schedules to choose from. However, we have experienced slightly more costly taxi fare here in Hangzhou than other cities we'd been such as Nanjing and Suzhou. We're heard taxi fare in Hangzhou can be a hit and miss kind of thing. So, it is still a given to have stayed near the railway station.

There was a bad odour in the room throughout the duration of the stay, coming from the bathroom and the air condition. Bathroom constantly smelt like the plumbing pipes for the entire building ran through it. There was a foul smell that stunk up the entire room and even after it being cleaned, this smell remained. The air con didn’t work properly and when it was on, it seemed like it was using air from the hallways as the smell of smoke made it into my room every time I turned it on. Would only stay for short while

The hotel is fine for a night or a weekend or somewhere for a few nights business trip but I wouldn't like to stay here longer than that. There is no fridge in the room. Although the hotel is very clean, the hotel can do with some proper maintenence The handle on the window was broken. The window had two layers of glass but there was condensation in between the two layers so you can't see out the window. We had some small sheets of paint fall from the bathroom roof. Housekeeping should be reporting these minor issues to management to allow the correct maintenance to be carried out.
