The location is great ... right in Zhongsan pedestrian walk. Many eateries and souvenir shops. The staff is helpful to help us plan our 2 days Xiamen itinerary. The room is clean, shower is good and toiletries provided.

The floor was sandy and not properly cleaned. And I came across stuff left behind by the previous guest. And I was bitten by mosquitoes in the room.

The way staff reply should improved. Tourist is new to the area, definitely will ask question in details. The staff reply as if our question is a joke.

Location is great. Just few walks away to busy streets and food area. Hotel location is near busy street. Walk 15 mins to the nearest metro station.

The breakfast could have been better but due to the Covid situation only a limited selection of breakfast items were available and these had to be delivered to the room.

The room was small but comfortable. The location was great and definitely a great value for the money. The staff was exceptional and my thanks go out to them for their patience and their help!

Breakfast left a gross smell in the whole lobby and was simple with mostly Chinese options. We only went once out of three days then ate elsewhere. The elevator was pretty slow, which we had also read in the reviews. There is a robot that takes the elevator to deliver things to people (we never found out what), and this slows down the elevator too.

Comfortable bed and pillows, good shower, good air conditioning. The room was small and simple but cost effective and well-located! Laundry facilities were a great touch.

Great hotel. Location was perfect to get to all sightseeing places. Would like to thank the staff. They spoke little English but went the extra mile to help me. They offered to change my room due to previous room being close to the escalator which was noisy at night. This was a very easy process and they help me moved me luggage. Thank you so much. Only one elevator for all guests. Plus you’ve got to share it with the robot.

The staff who attended to us at check-in was Mr Zhang YunJing, and he was super helpful and patient with all our issues and queries. Well done and Ibis Styles is lucky to have you! Location was excellent and all kinds of street food was available nearby

- waiting time for lift is long: there is only one lift. the lift is small and slow. It can take up to 10 mins of waiting time to get from 4th to 2nd floor. There is escalator from 2nd floor to 1st floor to access the shopping street but the downward escalator is spoilt - we cannot carry the luggage back to the 1st floor. - there is bad stench in the room - food delivery time was long: despite our food delivery been completed, we waited for nearly 40 min before it was sent to our room.

I was really disappointed with this Ibis. I am a frequent travel and i been staying in Ibis hotel for quite a number time. This is by far the worst ibis and it’s out of the usual Ibis standard outlet. I felt the rating in platform and the actual is very different from expectations. I found out the reason why this hotel got such a high rating it’s due to the hotel staff make sure the customers put a good rates before they leave. My experience on the review happen when I was checking out and the hotel staff requested me to put a review on the platform and when I was doing so he asked me to pull all full marks. But when I told him I was unhappy with my stay, he didn’t apologize but he stopped me on rating it. I was pretty unhappy because I felt cheated by the reviews and when I wanted to share my experience, he stopped me. This is very unprofessional and it’s cheating.

The room was was dirty with lots of damage - hair on the bathroom floor (still there after it had been cleaned mid-stay), dirty bedroom floors, damage to the wardrobe doors, damage to the main door (as if the lock had been previously forced open)… Also, the lift is possibly the slowest hotel lift I’ve been in, and has no a/c and also dirty walls.
