Everything. The guesthouse is extremely clean. The owner is super helpful and give all information that I need. I got an upgrade to a very beautiful suite room.

It's in a very quiet and peaceful position, but it's not sound proof: if other guests come home late or leave early and have little care for other guests sleeping, you will hear them. Had some difficult in finding the correct switches for some of the lights, there is some very confusing wiring. We managed to learn most of it by the end, anyway.

Excellent position, right in the center of Ancient Town, plus it's in a side alley, so no noise at night from the street. Room was very large and comfortable, big plus for the bath tub in the middle, very pleasant. Staff attentive and helpful, with English spoken and good suggestions for restaurants. The place is overall beautiful and relaxing, with quiet and peaceful common areas. Washing machine available for guests.

The location of the guesthouse is ideal as it is located within the Lijiang Ancient Town with shops right outside the doorstep. It is also only a 10 mins walk to the main road which is important since vehicle cannot enter the ancient town. The owners were extremely helpful and approachable. They offered to send our luggage to the main road since the uneven road makes it very difficult for us to pull the luggages. Love the architecture and environment. This place really transport you back to experience the old days.

It is located inside the old Town, which might be a bit inconvenient to move your suitcase. But the guesthouse will bring your luggage at your arrival and departure.

The guesthouse is really nice with flexible cancelation policy. The room is big and comfort. I even got the free oxygen bottle from the desktop. The atmosphere is free and friendly.

We believe booked the 2 bedroom 1 bathroom suite. Our group had 4 people and it was small and crammed for that many people. It is was just 2 travelers that wanted separate sleeping spaces, it would have been fine. We saw a couple of the single bed rooms and they looked a lot more spacious, so perhaps that would have been better if it was just myself and my wife. The staff is very friendly, but English is a challenge, so I recommend using small words or a translation app to communicate if nobody in your group can speak Mandarin. The walls are also very thin, so hope that you have quiet neighbors.

The location was great, it was within reasonable walking distance to the old town and also where the bus and taxi pickup/drop off locations. The staff was nice and transported our luggage to save our wheels from the aggressive stones in old town. The room was cleaned everyday, which was a plus for us since that wasn’t always the case when we were traveling in Yunnan.

It would be better if management could pay a little more attention to the facade and garden to make the atmosphere more inviting to the guests.

The location of the guesthouse is a little away from the main road. It is not possible to pull your luggage to where the guesthouse is located within the Ancient town of Lijiang. However, if arrangement is made in advance, the staff will assist you to bring the luggage in and out of the guesthouse in the Ancient city. Much accolades must be said of the staff because they made great effort to recover and return a lost item in our room to another city more than a hundred km away.

Nothing. Thomas picked us up from the taxi drop off and walked us to the hotel. It was great absorbing the atmosphere of the pedestrian street. Felt like going back in time.

Perfect location. In old town, just tucked away from the hustle-bustle. Super value for money. Very attentive staff. Pleasant rooms. Nice hot showers. Even has a washing machine and dryer for free usage.

Thomas the manager is EXCEPTIONAL. We have travelled many countries. He is probably one of the kindest and most helpful (maybe even BEST) inn manager. Location and value is excellent.

Centrally located but quiet, helpful English-speaking staff (the *only* place in China where I could actually communicate in English rather than using a translation app!). Very quick WeChat responses to questions. Would definitely recommend (or return myself).

No cars or taxi allowed. Have to call hotel staff to meet at entrance of South Gate with trolley for luggage transport and guide to hotel. Lijiang have many small unname lanes. Not a big hassle.

Hotel located inside old town. Traditional building but new interiors and good toilet facilities. English speaking front desk. Near everything, food, attractions, traditional markets and shopping both inside and outside of the old town. All walking distance and near bus station to Jade Dragon Mountain tourist entrance.

Not a dislike but you have walk around seven minute walk from the car drop off. They do help you with the luggage on a cargo bike.

It is strategically located in the middle of old town. Very clean, the diffuser oil smells so good and calm. The owners picked us up, and they tried very hard to explain to us (with short breath after helping us with the bags). The towels were replaced every day. They even have washer and dryer in house, veryyy convienient so that we can have fresh clothes for our next destination.
