It's a beautiful place, but you gotta know, you just can't walk to places from hotel, need a taxi. Staff were amazing, wish, breakfast was a little better. Our room was clean and big, the big bathtub was very needed after the countryside and trips we had.

Signage to the hotel could be useful on the main road leading to the hotel. The junction was dark at night and no sign of hotel.

Very quiet neighborhood, perfect place to have a good rest from a big city rush. Big rooms, comfortable beds, part of the rooms have a Li river view. Chinese food was very nice, try lemon chicken. 30 min walking from Yangsho’s West street

The staff is very friendly and helpful. They can speak decent English and they cater to Western expectations well. The room was clean and comfortable. The view from the balcony is gorgeous. It’s away from the crowds and an easy flat stroll to Yangshuo from the hotel. I’m glad I found this little gem.

The staff were lovely and helpful with good English skills. The accommodation was comfortable and clean - everything we hoped it would be. The walk into the town is along the river: safe and scenic. Food was mostly very tasty. Highly recommended!

Amazing location far from the hustle and bustle of the tourist town - very peaceful with beautiful view of the river and mountains around. 2nd floor with balcony offered one of the best views I have had on any of my vacations. Helpful hosts (speaking English) Swimming pool Breakfast

My friend introduced, very nice hotel, just by the Li River, the view is very good, the food in the restaurant is also very good, the room is clean, sitting in the lobby door looking at the Li River and the mountains, drinking coffee, very casual. Also close to West Street and the pool was fantastic

My biggest suggestion would be to put fridges in the rooms. At this level of quality, I would expect that. The cleaning ladies are lovely, but they are very persistent. Even if you put on the Do Not Disturb light they will knock and enter. I was woken up during a sleep in and I had to put the chain up when I was showering just to be sure. I'm only writing these things because they are easy fixes for a wonderful property.

I got a balcony river view, and it did NOT disappoint. The view was incredible. The room itself was comfortable, the bed was good, there was a desk which was good because I unfortunately had to do some work, the shower was nice. The restaurant had tons of options and available at all times until late night, they even held breakfast until 1130. Staff were very nice and welcoming. I really felt taken care of. In-room massages were available for a very reasonable rate (cheaper than you'll find at spas in most cities). Pool was usually quiet with nice greenery around it.

Great range of breakfast choices. Great choice of Chinese and Western food available all day, good value too. Easy walk into town or hire bikes from the restaurant below the hotel.

Very minor things… It is in a very quiet location out of town so it would good if there were shared bikes for the commute into town. That said there is a bike hire place across the road but it often looked closed. There was no power point for the hairdryer in the bathroom which was awkward.

Very friendly staff. Spacious rooms. Delicious food in the restaurant. Rooms were clean and well maintained. The pool was nice. Quiet location. We would definitely stay again.

I would like to use this channel of communication to.make a complain about Booking.com because I requested a book cancellation with a hotel in Chengdu and this plattform keep saying they must check with the property first where the manager of the propertyhas told me already that they wont execute any cancellation charge and it depends strictly of booking so it seems this platform that i have used for 5 years intends to take my money. Another aspect i want to highlightvis the difficulty to get in contact to a customer servi e member from Booking through email, phone or virtual chat taking into account that the "contact info" in the web is not even accurate.

The cozy environment, friendly staff, good food (best rice noodle soup in China) and stunning surroundings makes this hotel a pleasant place to stay. I would definitely come back if I have a chance.

Some of the activities listed in the brochure were unavailable. It could do with being updated so it is accurate.

Beautiful location. Very friendly staff who help with organising activities to do in the area. They also helped to arrange a car to and from Guilin airport. Great food in the restaurant. Lovely swimming pool for relaxing in the hot weather. Rooms were very spacious and the balcony had a great view of the mountains and river. A fantastic stay!
