Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

SingaporeI did not really enjoy my stay as the staff were unfriendly. The junior staff are friendly and helpful especially Carrie from breakfast. The managers in suit are not friendly at all. There was this experience when i entered the elevator and the manager was so unfriendly and not a single word of greeting from him. He look so arrogant and unfriendly. I wont want to go back to that hotel anymore.
The junior staff at the restaurant whom is Carrie a female serve me well. She was polite and super friendly.

FranceI am sorry but this is not a 5* service, I was expecting reception to speak proper English, then I got changed my initial room (2815) for a lower quality room (615), I knew I booked for Deluxe River view but I am usually upgraded when going to such hotels and I felt they were downgrading me not explaining the real reason why they changed last minute room allocation. For the price paid, don't expect to receive an excellent treatment you are not as considered as in other competitor chains.

Macao1) Loud music playing at the pool and it wouldn't stop until 12:00 mid-night. It was extremely annoying. 2) Staff was polite dealing with customer but that's all about it. No one seems to be willing to go an extra mile making guests feeling more welcomed. For the record, I was never been greeted by anyone (even we look each other in the eye) during my 2-day stay at your hotel. 3) All in all, it was a great hotel in terms of its hardware and facilities, but fall short when it comes to customer service. A shame to its Forbes 5-star (1 of the only 3 in Shanghai) credential.
Location was excellent. Breakfast was crowed but understandable; it was the May 1 holiday. Staff was doing everything they could to make table available ASAP. Food was OK.
